To be honest, if anyone could have given me anything growing up, being rescued would have been my first choice. I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her is a novel told in poems, chronicling author Tyler Harrison's experience with abuse, trauma, life, love, and God. Don't be afraid to speak up about abuse; it is serious.

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. This book is a kind of autobiography of the author but with slight changes of facts. The book is based on true events and written by the author to bring his story to the world. He has penned all the sufferings and pain that he had seen and experienced by a beautiful poetic narration. But the author has also written about how all the inhumane acts and cruelty of the world can be neutralized by love and forgiveness. You can say it's a whole poetic novel with some beautiful vocabulary. It's not difficult to extract the meanings. You can read it like any other novel. I really appreciate the author for having the confidence and belief about writing this unique book. Reading this book gave me a whole new reading experience. But I must say it's one of a kind. This book is highly recommended to all readers and poetry lovers too.

First of all, I think, I should confess that I haven't read any book with such a fascinating title ever, ever. Not only the title, but the whole context is also incredible. Basically, the story is based on the author's real-life experiences. It revolves around two characters, Tyler and Lucy. Both of them have bitter pasts. They share everything with each other. Once they're trapped in love and their journey of fright and fight starts. In a broad sense, the whole story spreads the hymn of love, the power of positivity, and the potential of not giving up. Hazards, sufferings, heartbreak, love, and conquest - every phase of life has been vividly emphasized here. The most relevant thing is that the whole story is narrated in a simple poetic style. The lucid rhythmic yarn is so touching that it'll linger for long after you finished reading. And the author deserves a lot of hearty thanks for scribbling such an inspiring story for us. Obviously, all of you should read the book.

"I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her" by Tyler Harrison is an excellent experience. As a writer myself, I couldn't imagine such a great storyline. The plot is unbelievable and unputdownable. The book is basically written with the author's personal experiences. The story has been told in poems- how Tyler meets Lucy, his faith in God, how he was traumatized and abused at one point in life, how he finds love and hope, and how he overcomes his fears and looks at the brighter side. It's the first time I have read a full-length story narrated in poems. The author must have put lots of effort here. His imagination level, creativity, and writing style... certainly made the story a page-turner. The plot talks about trauma and tragedy which we all at some point in life might face. And this is what makes the book powerful. It is really one of a kind and inspiring in a way. The story is rhythmic and brings a sense of joy. If you want to read something unique and powerful and want to know the true meaning of love and forgiveness, GO FOR IT!

This story is an autobiography of the author himself. The peculiar thing about it is that firstly, almost the entire story is narrated in 1st person point of view, that is, the author himself, and secondly, throughout the story, almost all the lines rhyme together. Not entirely, but yeah almost! And mind you it's not poetry but the story is written that way itself and flows in a rhythm. This is very unique and hard to implement concept. Because it's not easy to put an entire story in a rhyming manner. That's very appreciable. It must have taken a lot of time and effort on the author's and the editor's sides. However, after a point, it can get a little too much since it's a long story and not a short poem. Coming to the story, it's about the author's life and also narrated by him, it starts with him meeting Lucy, a film producer, and director. They connect and talk to each other about their childhoods and their lives. Our author mentions all the trauma he had faced throughout his childhood and all the difficulties he has seen growing up. He lives with his parents and his father has been constantly abusing his mother, him, and his brothers. They still go through it until after many years when he confesses to the police that his father almost killed his brother. That's when their mother leaves his father. Not just this, he and his brothers have also been subjected to molestation at such a young age. A lot more difficulties ensue further. However, for someone having faced such a traumatic childhood, it's not easy to have a positive outlook on life. But it surprised me seeing the kind of optimist the author has been! He didn't give up even for once. He strived through it all. And has reached where he is today through his hard work and persistence. His story is definitely very going to be inspiring and motivating to many people out there. In spite of going through so much, he says to always choose to love and forgive. Childhood traumas can be destroying too many people, and here's our author who had overcome it all and how! I hope this book really helps people out there going through similar experiences and gives others to speak against or take a stand for people who are going through it.

Firstly, I liked the title of the book. The title is really awesome and thoughtful. I immediately got interested in the book after reading the title of the book. After reading the genre of the book i.e. Autobiography, I was not hesitant to pick this but I thought to give it a try. The cover of the book is awesome. The color space is good. It gives a thrilling vibe! But it's not a thriller book!! The book starts with the author meeting a director. The author faced many things at a young age. I was able to feel certain things. In between, it gave me chills. I was literally imagining all the things right in front of my eyes. I really liked the narration by the author. The way in which the author has written the series of events is commendable. Being a woman is really tough. We have to deal with many attitudes, taunts, humiliation, and other things daily. The author had faced it. Though the narration by the author is good. I feel that the book list is a charm after some time for me. Like already since past few days, I am not in a good frame of mind and the book made me sadder. That's why I'm between I kept it aside and read something new! Once I was back in my mood, I started this book again. The series of events which the author has faced will make you feel bad. Also, after completing the book I was like... what was the title then??? The title didn't feel appropriate for me. But yeah.. the story ends on a happy now which makes it a good read for me. P.S.I hate sad endings!! Otherwise, the book is good.

The cover of the book is wonderfully designed with a good shaded color attractive to look & the title also matched the plot wonderfully. This book is basically the author's autobiography. The book starts with a film director who met with the author to know about his life childhood & lives Author as a child with his brother & mother harassed brutally by his father. For a kid humiliated at a younger age impacted badly to the mind. But the author is so positive & optimistic in his mindset & attitude that he never let himself down Lucy, the film director, had a similar childhood & when he narrated this they both can relate to it. To know more about the author's life you can pick this one & give it a try. The writing style is natural, simple & shows the collective efforts of the author to put forward this book. As its author's autobiography & author wrote it directly from his heart you can easily relate to the pain & harassment he went through in his childhood. The language is also classy impressive & directly impacting the heart of readers. Characters of the book are well developed & present in front of readers in an empathic manner. This book is an autobiography of the author so it's basically a memoir or experience which will let you learn many new things in life. Sympathetic narrated storyline & moderately paced book. A wonderful read!

This book is a phenomenal attempt to say one's life in absolute poetry! I'm just amazed after reading this book. The touch of a real-life experience is vivid is so this book. The author Tyler Harisson has written this book for many to know his story. I want it to be heard more too! From the start when the author meets Lucy everything was rhyming, I loved that part, it was different and kind of cool. And he also beautifully explains the nervousness behind asking Lucy out poetically too. He opens about his trauma and difficulties in his past before meeting Lucy. A traumatic childhood, an abusive father who almost killed his mother and brother. Coming out of this chapter, the siblings have kicked out again when their mom finds a new relationship and she is forced, to keep the relationship alive. But with all of this even as a child he never deterred himself from having a positive attitude towards life and seeking it. I wonder if everybody can do this. It's a big lesson for me to take upon. Lucy shares a similar trauma as the author, she shares her experience with him. And they both develop a wonderful bond leading to love. Both of them had a dark past something traumatic that pushes one to the edge. But they chose to live through it and give the world a beautiful message of seeing the bright sides in life. Why to read? It's a beautifully penned work, to incorporate poetry through writing a novel. I'm glad that I picked it up. It seems a great fit to be a wonderful motivating and inspiring story for everyone to read. You will definitely enjoy this, especially if you are looking to read away from the usual style of writing. Pick this up!

A lot of persons face a lot of difficulties in life. Some of them just fail to cope up with all these situations. He just gets tired of facing a lot of these. A quote is also there on this i.e - whether you will fall or achieve a really great height from all difficulties and struggles. Each and every person in the whole world is struggling from one thing or another. This is the own Story of the author which he narrated to all of us through this book. Anyone can spend his /her life while facing a lot in their life. But I must say the author really has something in him soo that instead of facing a lot of traumas & difficulties he stood soo nicely & achieve Great height. The book is really an inspiration for all of those who just get tired or feel failed in her/ his life. The author of this book provides a strong message to all of us that instead of a lot of difficulties we can achieve anything only if we want to. A live inspiration is there go and read such a great book.
