This man has had such a beautiful life. Please let his voice be heard!
Such a great book this is his brother and we had a crazy life let this book be heard across the world so everyone can read such an amazing book.
The story is a collection of poems where the author has pen downed her own experience where she has suffered a lot, and now with such amazing poetry she has come up with words that are strong and vivid. It's the first time I have read a whole story in poetry that too when the poetry is touching some very sensitive yet important topics. The author has talked about Harassment, abuse, and cruelty on humans by humans. Humans have become humans' biggest enemies. If your mind is strong enough to digest these facts then do give it a read. Also, with such wonderful poetry, the author has touched upon Love. Love that makes and destroys lives. But here the way love has been talked about and portrayed is amazing. I would like to appreciate the writing skills of the author which are on peak. Such creativity with words is unbelievable and I loved it.
In the story, the author opens up about his abusive past to Lucy. Then Lucy also shares about her past. They both grow in love. Then they sat on a journey together. I really liked how Tyler and Lucy didn’t give up on life even after facing so much. Tyler kept on trying different things and in the journey discovered his love for poetry and cosmetology. I liked the positive vibes and encouragement book shares, also the magical realism, and spirituality make it interesting. I was awestruck by the time machine. I guess the book was a bit repetitive in its content at places, that being only its negative side. The language was poetic and in rhythm. The cover page is beautiful. The title is very intriguing. I still do not know what it means or how it is connected to the story in the book. Why one should read this: If you have given up on life and look for inspiration. Then it is a perfect read!
This may sound too plain because I am currently not finding any other words to express how I am feeling, but honestly never in my life have I read a story like this. I mean everything from the diegesis, the subplots, and the characters’ representation to the way of narration, the essence which finally comes out after I complete reading the story is phenomenal. The story is actually the autobiography of the author where he explains his real-life experiences with us. At the very beginning which is in the preface, the author mentions one line- “I am writing it because I believe my story needs to be heard so I can impact millions of people’s lives for the liberation of others.” and that is accurate, he has successfully impacted his readers in real through his story. The story revolves around the struggles the author goes through in his life. He falls in love with a girl named Lucy but his journey is not smooth and even. A lot of adversities cover his life to sink him down in deep distress. Surprisingly he still believes in God no matter how tough his life appears to be. After lots of turns and events, he finally finds out the meaning of his life. He never gives up living and fights every uneven situation that ever comes in front; finally, the sun of delight rises and he seeks out the enlightening part of his life to focus on it. How tough was the author’s struggle? How could he gather all the strength to fight his problems? What mindset helped him throughout and kept him going? Everything is prevalent inside this book and once you start reading you can’t put it down before exploring the whole story. What actually has caught my attention is none of the issues explained by the author are surreal, I could literally relate with his difficulties and the situations where he was put into and how he grappled out of those. Actually, it feels like a story we all need to read as it’s very close to our hearts. Every one of us goes through ups and downs and sometimes the traumas where life puts us are so unprecedented that it takes ages to be churned out of our memory, sometimes it never truly leaves us. Forgiveness is portrayed by the author so beautifully in this story that it really adds to the morale of one’s life. To regain mental peace and stability we all gotta forgive those people or incidents which, ever have left a poignant remembrance in us. This story contains the hope of living life in spite of the shocks and uncalled incidents we pass through and obviously teaches us to make out the positive side of everything believing that something good is surely kept there for you, it’s only taking time to reach there. Overall it is a beautifully woven, relatable, inspiring story which has made a precious place in my soul.
This book is the author's autobiography. A novel is written in the form of poetry. You can feel the pain of the author through his words. The author meets a girl who happens to be a film director, he asked her out on a date. The author tells her about his ups and downs in the past so that she knows what kind of person he was and is now. What kind of things he suffered from and how he is to be treated and loved. Now don't get confused, he is not trying to gain sympathy. But I think this is something we all have forgotten to understand. A point exceptionally well made by Author, if you like someone or you want someone to like you, you need to gift yourself as a book to them, a book without a lock that can be read, because unless and until we do so, we don't know if that person can take us, the baggage we come with, the things we want and expect. And in return to know what they want and expect and are something they are looking for. In the end, the author gives us a strong message of self-help, self-realization, and never giving up attitude towards yourself. I really liked the writing style of the author, as it is very different from usual. Glad I came across this book. A must-read!
I have always been a fan of reading books with real-life touches, in other words, autobiographies. I picked up this book two days back, without any idea about what was I going to read. The title was enough for me to pick up this book, though. And the next thing I found while reading was its vibe of pain and struggle, which is quite relatable to real-life situations. The author, Tyler Harrison has done a commendable job speaking about his life's struggles and events here in the book. From the traumatic childhood where he sees his mother being physically tortured by his father to the painful life-changing things happening in his life at a later stage, he has said it all. I have no words to express how deeply affected I am by reading his life in words. To say a bit about the story, Tyler falls in love with Lucy, with not a very ideal love life, sees things going down the slope, and goes into depression. But the only thing which keeps his boat sailing is his spiritual self, his belief in Jesus, even he starts his book with a brief part dedicated to an incident from His life. The positivity Tyler contains within himself helps him to make his life better. The book is written in lucid English and poetic verses, like a lot of rhyming, have been used to add flavor to the work of pain and tragedy. The story has been narrated in a way to send all the efficacious vibes to the universe. You can achieve whatever you want if you trust yourself. A simple message which everyone knows but often forgets to follow. I would highly recommend this book to all because learning from the experiences of others is the best way to prevent oneself from falling into the same situations.
The book is written with the author's personal experiences. The whole story is about the struggles the author goes through in his life. He sees his mother being physically tortured by his father to the painful life-changing things happening in his life at a later stage, he has said it all. He falls in love with a girl named Lucy... but his journey is not very simple. A lot of adversities cover his life to sink him down in deep distress. This story contains the hope of living life in spite of the shocks and uncalled incidents. How tough was the author’s struggle? To know more about the book kindly.....go and grab the book. The book tells that you can achieve whatever you want if you trust yourself. You believe yourself that makes you strong. He has successfully impacted his readers in real through his story. The language of the book is very simple and easy to understand. This book is such a great storyline. The plot is very nice. The plot talks about trauma and tragedy which we all at some point in life might face. The Writing Style is amazing by the author. The narration by the author " oh my god " that's dam good. I love the author's idea to write about this topic. I appreciate the author of the book. The cover of the book is really good. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Happy reading!
The book is the autobiography of the author himself. The story starts with him meeting Lucy, a film producer, and director. On the very first date, the author pours out all about his life, traumas, abused childhood, violence, etc. Lucy also tells about herself and how she does not fit into the binary of gender. How she has both male and female chromosomes and what that means for the social and mental and physical aspects of her life. I just loved reading this part as it was very informative and very well explained. What turns their lives take from here? Will they come out positive and strong from these experiences? Read to know more. Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her is a novel told in poems, chronicling author Tyler Harrison's experience with abuse, trauma, life, love, and God. It is a very impressive written piece, while the undertone and instances are all sad, still, the reader feels positivity and strength while reading this. The book is easy to read and easy to understand. Many incidents are heart-wrenching but still inspiring. Overall a good read!
"The relationship between brain activity and conscious experiences is still a mystery." "The illusion of truth- the things we are exposed to repeatedly seems truer due to cognitive ease." This book is a beautiful blend of love and trauma. The author has brilliantly presented the stories of this childhood pain, trauma, abuse, and love. He has not only shared his parts with us but also gave an insight on how to deal with bad days. The book is ornamented with lucid language, pomes, and rhyming words, which makes the reading more fun and interesting. The autobiographical element is the real charm of the book, giving an explicit rawness and newness to it. The book is easy to read and easy to understand. The read was very informative, heart-touching, and engrossing. This book would be an excellent choice for beginners to start with. Overall a good quick read. Happy Reading!
The author is very kind and mature for his age and is truly blessed with the ability to create such mesmerizing poetry with his words. The novel is very encouraging and motivational to anyone who will read it with an open mind. It bravely talked about so many injustices caused towards humans by humans. The message from the author through his book is clear, vivid, and strong. Its underlying theme is simple. Love. Love everything and everyone truly. In times like these, we need to remind ourselves of what we are, what we need, who we are, and most importantly why we are here. Aside from being philosophical, the book talked about abuse, harassment, and genetic disorders that most people shun and refuse to acknowledge. Although the story seemed at times biblical and leaned a bit towards preaching, the main theme of loving and serving others along with the author's brilliant writing skills more than made up for it.
I am so happy one of my friends gifted it on my birthday, and it ended up being an excellent present. With solid and distinctive wonderful substance the creator presence his previous involvement in brutality and languishing. I have consistently wanted to peruse books with genuine touch and it satisfies my craving. Never surrender the mentality of Tyler and Lucy, and Tyler's disclosure of affection towards verse and cosmology will propel you in the excursion of finding yourself. The issues explained by the maker are not illusory, From my guaranteed perspective, I relate to his inconveniences and the conditions where he was set into and how he got away from those. Everything considered appears to be a story we all in all need to view as it's close to our spirits. We all encounter high focuses and depressed spots and sometimes the wounds where life puts us are unique so much that it eliminates ages to be fomented from our memory, once in a while it never truly leaves us. This story contains the desire for continuing with life despite the dazes and uncalled events we experience and obviously trains us to make out the positive side of everything tolerating that something extraordinary is probably kept there for you, it's simply requiring exertion to reach there. As a rule, it is a faultlessly woven, relatable, awakening story which has made an important spot in my soul and will surely make in yours too.
A book which speaks volumes about love. It focuses much on the theme of love right from the beginning till the end. Touches upon other issues as well which is painful but it is not detached from reality indeed. The tone of the author is pedantic where the intention is to teach the lesson to his readers. Emphasis on 'faith' and how faith helps one to overcome the journey of abuse and downfall. There is truth and the style is poetical.
"Forgive and you will be forgiven". I couldn't find her so I created her by Tyler Harrison is the autobiography of Tyler. This book is based on a true story. With this book, he wants to impact many people's lives for the liberation of others. The book starts with biblical phrases. It's the story of love, abuse, and pain. It's the story of Tyler and lucy's life. The whole story is the narration of Tyler to lucy. My view- This book is written in the poem while maintaining the storyline. He suffers a lot growing up and write this novel so he'll help others. The language is lucid, the cover of the book is very mesmerizing. The book is interesting. I've mixed feeling about the book, somewhere I like it while somewhere it's a bit confusing.
Basically, the book is written using the personal experiences of the author. The title of the book totally suits the plot and the cover is also very catchy. The story is about trauma and tragedy that we may all experience at some stage in life. It's about how at some point in life he was humiliated, how he learns to love and hope, and how he overcomes his fears. This book is an inspiration for the readers I felt really good while reading every line and how the things were presented in a very simple way. If you are feeling low these days and want to try something unique this book is for you and I am sure you will feel relaxed so just Go for it. Happy reading!
This book is like a diary of the author where she has not only penned down her life experiences but also the events which made her write poems. To quote one of the examples, she wrote a poem when she was in class 6th and was attending Mrs. Rakestraw’s class. “The light in the sky, at it reflects down the water, .................. “ “Jets fast cool.........” “ Dig a hole under the snow.............” One thing that lacks is the poems are not published the way they should have been. They aren’t lined properly and look more like paragraphs. A bit confusing at times when the story ends and when the poem starts. The concept is good but lacks synchronization.
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. This book is a kind of autobiography of the author but with slight changes of facts. The book is based on true events and written by the author to bring his story to the world. He has penned all the sufferings and pain that he had seen and experienced by a beautiful poetic narration. But the author has also written about how all the inhumane acts and cruelty of the world can be neutralized by love and forgiveness. You can say it's a whole poetic novel with some beautiful vocabulary. It's not difficult to extract the meanings. You can read it like any other novel. I really appreciate the author for having the confidence and belief about writing this unique book. Reading this book gave me a whole new reading experience. But I must say it's one of a kind. This book is highly recommended to all readers and poetry lovers too.
First of all, I think, I should confess that I haven't read any book with such a fascinating title ever, ever. Not only the title, but the whole context is also incredible. Basically, the story is based on the author's real-life experiences. It revolves around two characters, Tyler and Lucy. Both of them have bitter pasts. They share everything with each other. Once they're trapped in love and their journey of fright and fight starts. In a broad sense, the whole story spreads the hymn of love, the power of positivity, and the potential of not giving up. Hazards, sufferings, heartbreak, love, and conquest - every phase of life has been vividly emphasized here. The most relevant thing is that the whole story is narrated in a simple poetic style. The lucid rhythmic yarn is so touching that it'll linger for long after you finished reading. And the author deserves a lot of hearty thanks for scribbling such an inspiring story for us. Obviously, all of you should read the book.
"I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her" by Tyler Harrison is an excellent experience. As a writer myself, I couldn't imagine such a great storyline. The plot is unbelievable and unputdownable. The book is basically written with the author's personal experiences. The story has been told in poems- how Tyler meets Lucy, his faith in God, how he was traumatized and abused at one point in life, how he finds love and hope, and how he overcomes his fears and looks at the brighter side. It's the first time I have read a full-length story narrated in poems. The author must have put lots of effort here. His imagination level, creativity, and writing style... certainly made the story a page-turner. The plot talks about trauma and tragedy which we all at some point in life might face. And this is what makes the book powerful. It is really one of a kind and inspiring in a way. The story is rhythmic and brings a sense of joy. If you want to read something unique and powerful and want to know the true meaning of love and forgiveness, GO FOR IT!
This story is an autobiography of the author himself. The peculiar thing about it is that firstly, almost the entire story is narrated in 1st person point of view, that is, the author himself, and secondly, throughout the story, almost all the lines rhyme together. Not entirely, but yeah almost! And mind you it's not poetry but the story is written that way itself and flows in a rhythm. This is very unique and hard to implement concept. Because it's not easy to put an entire story in a rhyming manner. That's very appreciable. It must have taken a lot of time and effort on the author's and the editor's sides. However, after a point, it can get a little too much since it's a long story and not a short poem. Coming to the story, it's about the author's life and also narrated by him, it starts with him meeting Lucy, a film producer, and director. They connect and talk to each other about their childhoods and their lives. Our author mentions all the trauma he had faced throughout his childhood and all the difficulties he has seen growing up. He lives with his parents and his father has been constantly abusing his mother, him, and his brothers. They still go through it until after many years when he confesses to the police that his father almost killed his brother. That's when their mother leaves his father. Not just this, he and his brothers have also been subjected to molestation at such a young age. A lot more difficulties ensue further. However, for someone having faced such a traumatic childhood, it's not easy to have a positive outlook on life. But it surprised me seeing the kind of optimist the author has been! He didn't give up even for once. He strived through it all. And has reached where he is today through his hard work and persistence. His story is definitely very going to be inspiring and motivating to many people out there. In spite of going through so much, he says to always choose to love and forgive. Childhood traumas can be destroying too many people, and here's our author who had overcome it all and how! I hope this book really helps people out there going through similar experiences and gives others to speak against or take a stand for people who are going through it.
Firstly, I liked the title of the book. The title is really awesome and thoughtful. I immediately got interested in the book after reading the title of the book. After reading the genre of the book i.e. Autobiography, I was not hesitant to pick this but I thought to give it a try. The cover of the book is awesome. The color space is good. It gives a thrilling vibe! But it's not a thriller book!! The book starts with the author meeting a director. The author faced many things at a young age. I was able to feel certain things. In between, it gave me chills. I was literally imagining all the things right in front of my eyes. I really liked the narration by the author. The way in which the author has written the series of events is commendable. Being a woman is really tough. We have to deal with many attitudes, taunts, humiliation, and other things daily. The author had faced it. Though the narration by the author is good. I feel that the book list is a charm after some time for me. Like already since past few days, I am not in a good frame of mind and the book made me sadder. That's why I'm between I kept it aside and read something new! Once I was back in my mood, I started this book again. The series of events which the author has faced will make you feel bad. Also, after completing the book I was like... what was the title then??? The title didn't feel appropriate for me. But yeah.. the story ends on a happy now which makes it a good read for me. P.S.I hate sad endings!! Otherwise, the book is good.
The cover of the book is wonderfully designed with a good shaded color attractive to look & the title also matched the plot wonderfully. This book is basically the author's autobiography. The book starts with a film director who met with the author to know about his life childhood & lives Author as a child with his brother & mother harassed brutally by his father. For a kid humiliated at a younger age impacted badly to the mind. But the author is so positive & optimistic in his mindset & attitude that he never let himself down Lucy, the film director, had a similar childhood & when he narrated this they both can relate to it. To know more about the author's life you can pick this one & give it a try. The writing style is natural, simple & shows the collective efforts of the author to put forward this book. As its author's autobiography & author wrote it directly from his heart you can easily relate to the pain & harassment he went through in his childhood. The language is also classy impressive & directly impacting the heart of readers. Characters of the book are well developed & present in front of readers in an empathic manner. This book is an autobiography of the author so it's basically a memoir or experience which will let you learn many new things in life. Sympathetic narrated storyline & moderately paced book. A wonderful read!
This book is a phenomenal attempt to say one's life in absolute poetry! I'm just amazed after reading this book. The touch of a real-life experience is vivid is so this book. The author Tyler Harisson has written this book for many to know his story. I want it to be heard more too! From the start when the author meets Lucy everything was rhyming, I loved that part, it was different and kind of cool. And he also beautifully explains the nervousness behind asking Lucy out poetically too. He opens about his trauma and difficulties in his past before meeting Lucy. A traumatic childhood, an abusive father who almost killed his mother and brother. Coming out of this chapter, the siblings have kicked out again when their mom finds a new relationship and she is forced, to keep the relationship alive. But with all of this even as a child he never deterred himself from having a positive attitude towards life and seeking it. I wonder if everybody can do this. It's a big lesson for me to take upon. Lucy shares a similar trauma as the author, she shares her experience with him. And they both develop a wonderful bond leading to love. Both of them had a dark past something traumatic that pushes one to the edge. But they chose to live through it and give the world a beautiful message of seeing the bright sides in life. Why to read? It's a beautifully penned work, to incorporate poetry through writing a novel. I'm glad that I picked it up. It seems a great fit to be a wonderful motivating and inspiring story for everyone to read. You will definitely enjoy this, especially if you are looking to read away from the usual style of writing. Pick this up!
A lot of persons face a lot of difficulties in life. Some of them just fail to cope up with all these situations. He just gets tired of facing a lot of these. A quote is also there on this i.e - whether you will fall or achieve a really great height from all difficulties and struggles. Each and every person in the whole world is struggling from one thing or another. This is the own Story of the author which he narrated to all of us through this book. Anyone can spend his /her life while facing a lot in their life. But I must say the author really has something in him soo that instead of facing a lot of traumas & difficulties he stood soo nicely & achieve Great height. The book is really an inspiration for all of those who just get tired or feel failed in her/ his life. The author of this book provides a strong message to all of us that instead of a lot of difficulties we can achieve anything only if we want to. A live inspiration is there go and read such a great book.
It is an autobiography presented in the form of poetry. The message of the book is very simple yet strong. The author mainly wants to tell that loving yourself and others is the best way to live. The book begins with the author meeting this lady at the mall and asking her out on a date. To him she is different. On their first date, he opens the chapters of his past where he strangled to survive. His father's torture, obesity, bullying at school, not having a house to live in, and more. On the second date, Lucy (his date) talks about her life with Turner's syndrome. They talk and are captivated by each other's ideas and support for being not normal in the world. Eventually, they fall in love. In the end, he (the author) has a beautiful family with kids and a loving wife. I love this irony. The writing style of the book is very different. A novel as poetry. There are poems too long and too short. The poems on finding love, growing up, becoming, falling in love, marriage, and lessons of life make up the book. It is a painful read which is motivating and empowering at the same time. I love how the author/ poet becomes too aggressive and soft again while writing. The poems are the true essence of Tyler Harrison's life. He has put a lot of effort into it. One can feel this way while reading this book. I'd recommend this book to poetry readers and those people who are looking for motivation after having faced failures in their lives.
I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her: Wrestling with new concepts, I got them from downstairs by Tyler Harrison I like the author's writing style very much. I am satisfied with the way it is expressed. It's like in short, it says a lot. The author’s storytelling is so gripping that it effortlessly pulled me into her world and made me a part of it! This book is the author's autobiography. A novel was written inside the shape of poetry. You can feel the pain of the author through his words. The tale begins with him meeting Lucy, a film producer, and director. On the very first date, the author pours out all about his life, traumas, abused childhood, violence, etc. Love everything and everyone truly. In times like these, we need to remind ourselves of what we are, what we need, who we are, and most importantly why we are here. The book is ornamented with lucid language, pomes, and rhyming words, which makes the reading more fun and interesting. This book is an inspiration for the readers I felt really good while reading every line and how the things were presented in a very simple way. I really appreciate the author for having the confidence and belief about writing this unique book. I am really thankful to the author for providing me with such a beautiful book. Great job by Tyler Harrison, and wishing this book heaps of success! This book is definitely for you. I really enjoyed reading this book.
This book is a novel plus an autobiography, beautifully gathered by summing poems penned down by the author. He begins his story by telling his lady love lucy how difficult his life had been and how he faced a dark past from a young age. With the abnormalities and abuses, he had grown in, and later Lucy too shared the struggles she faced all her life. Without revealing much just want to say they both gave us all a lesson on how important it is to not give up on life so easily. Highly recommended for those who are having a hard time in life. Read it once and feel that not just you but many have problems which are remained untold and be grateful for the author who shared his story to put an impact on people and to liberate them, who are suffering from near the same. The realization will come when all the bad vibes are gone, the thoughts that replicate your mind from dusk till dawn. Concluding by saying life has too many good things to offer. Never lose hope and be yourself, happiness will arrive anyways. It might take a while but it will.
The book is the autobiography of Tyler Harrison. Its heart touching poetry to read!! Firstly I get attracted to the title of the book which means that if we couldn't find something in our life so then we can achieve or create it by the power of our own or by trusting ourselves!! The poetry is written so well that we get to feel dèeply every situation by which the author goes through. The book is quite relatable to one's, here author shares his two phases of life; firstly, he tells us about his all trouble or sufferings which he goes through in his life in every age and secondly, he simply taught us how to be optimistic and how by his trust and strength he overcomes all his pain!! The most learning thing I get from this book which I try to apply in my own life is that how we get over our bad days or trouble situations by being positive about every situation in life... One can overcome every pain and suffering by having trust in yourself and most importantly I like the best thing about the author is the trust and faith he had in God, in Supreme. So the book is a nice read for me as I learned good lessons from this and would recommend it to all.
The main protagonist is Tyler, who meets a person called Lucy. He narrates his life and all the struggles he went through his entire journey to her. Especially about his family, which has an abusive father who always tormented his mother and brothers. He fell in love with Lucy, but then the afterlife was didn't go well. The bitter phase slapped him down. However, he really tried so hard to cope up and handle the situations smoothly. The integrity and genuine incidents with which the book is written are what touch me. He didn't add glitters to the plot, he made it as crisp as possible. I really felt so connected with the story. I felt the story is more of a fictional prose form than a poetry one. This is a fast-paced book. The characters were developed well and the baseline of secondary characters was rooted very well. Language is lucid and the writing style is definitely a different one. The cover is good. The topic and the tagline are well inclined with the main plot. I must appreciate the author bringing out a new style of writing. It was so engaging throughout. The author spoke about sensitive topics which may trigger some readers, so it is definitely not recommended for beginners.
This book is the autobiography of Tyler Harrison. This autobiography is not at all a simple one. It's different as It is filled with varieties of emotions that are engrossed into pain and hope. The book, in detail, explains what the author has undergone to be here today. He faced been a lot of trauma in his childhood. With a physical & verbal abusive father, he has gone through seeing his mother & brothers get beaten up & shouted at. He has also been molested at the age of four by his cousin. And he was basically left on the road when his mother’s boyfriend kicked everyone out of the house. Emerging from that background and having a positive attitude on life is miraculous, and this journey is beautifully written in the book. The book is a bit disturbing, but it's real, and the best part is the loads of positivity that comes out of it by the time one reaches the end. The book is very fast-paced and almost rhythmic. It's a very quick read and it's a story but has life lessons for all of us. There is hope for all. Just don't give up on what's is right and be thankful for life and every chance one gets in life. It's definitely recommended to all as it's a fantastic read!
This book is the author's autobiography. This story is inspiring and motivating for all readers. A story in a rhythmic way, a story like poetry. The story starts with the author meeting a girl who happens to be a film director "Lucy" the girl is also a producer the author asked her out on a date, and she agreed to go on a date with him. On the date, the author talks about their lives and infancy boyhood, and girlhood. The author speaks about his childhood trauma how his abusive father destroyed his childhood together with the life of his mother and brothers too. At a young age, only he faced so many bad situations in his life and later Lucy too shared the struggles she faced all her life. To know more about what happened next go and grab a copy of this book. The cover is very attractive. The characters of the book are well developed and it shows like reality. The author talks about all possible things in this book. I appreciate the author for this amazing book Narration is perfect and it hooks the reader till the very end of the book. If you want to know....what is life.....and how life changes....then you must read the book. I would recommend it to everyone.
I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her, a novel featuring the author Tyler Harrison's experience with abuse, trauma, life, love, and God. First of all, the book blurb is misleading. It's not a novel told in poems. It's a fully-fledged novel, the author is the protagonist, and this is the author's autobiography or memoir! I'm sorry for all the hardships the author has to face throughout his life. Some of the moments were really heartbreaking. The author had an abusive father, an entirely disturbing, abusive childhood. The author says he doesn't want us to feel sorry for him, rather take inspiration and he wants to impact the world, wants to remove suffering from the world. The author has poured in his entire life with emotions and all his feelings. Talking about my reading experience, it was alright in the beginning but later it felt like a cry more than a tale to share inspiration, I felt a little bored at times. The opinions might certainly differ, this is just mine. Do not know how the title is suitable. Happy that the story ends on a positive note, and hope that no one has to bear such things, although this is the pathetic reality of life. These things exist, and it's brave of the author to write about them.
If you are looking for inspiration and motivation, you must read this book. We can't say it is a story, actually it's the autobiography of the author where he explains his real-life experiences with us. At the very beginning which is in the preface, the author mentions one line- which is ....“I am writing it because I believe my story needs to be heard so I can impact millions of people’s lives for the liberation of others.” and believe me its true, he has successfully impacted his readers in real through his story In the story, the author opens up about his abusive past to Lucy. Then Lucy also shares about her past. They both grow in love. Then they sat on a journey together. I really liked how Tyler and Lucy didn’t give up on life even after facing so much issues. Tyler kept on trying different ways and in this journey, he discovered his love for poetry and cosmetology. I liked the positive vibes and encouragement book shares, the author has written in such a good way that you can't keep the book down until you don't know what happens in the end. The Language was poetic and in rhythm. The cover page is beautiful, one more point if you are a writer or author, we must give a try to this book.
This is a book wherein the story is portrayed through verses. It is an excursion of the existence of Tyler and Lucy together. It is the book about their past and how they beat the whole interaction in the type of verses. The cover page is straightforward yet it very well may be really intriguing. The title of the book is extremely fitting as the words and each line implies something profound and mending. Everybody goes through various and something they don't have the foggiest idea how to place words into. However, the creator has done quite well, changing these sentiments over to words. I have perused numerous verse books, they likewise comprise of such incredible moving sonnets that one will feel extraordinary. I love perusing every one of the sonnets in it. The subject shrouded in them is incredible, portraying each feeling quite well. The passionate unrest and afterward the inspiration the sonnets give is something to become hopelessly enamored with. The language utilized in the book is clear and the words utilized are rich and exact. I'll see the value in the composing style of the creator since it is so relatable and motivational. Generally speaking, this book is prescribed to all the verse sweethearts.
This book is an autobiography of the author. The story starts with a conversation between him and a woman named Lucy. She is a film producer and they both discuss their life and what problems they faced throughout their life. Basically, the author went through a lot, from traumatic childhood to a fully grown-up optimistic person. It impressed me looking at this change regardless of the worst conditions. People forget that just because a person has a bad childhood his upbringing can affect it. I guess it's not fully true. People become what they are with the values they possess. And I guess the author has mentioned this beautifully. There is a saying in our localities that "The one who burns knows the pain". We might not fully understand the pain that the author has went through. But can console such people and learn from them. The most underrated part of this book is that it's a poem. A bunch of poems and all things rhyme with each other and I haven't seen such a classic way of writing in any other book. This book deserves as much love as it gets. I hope this book will help you to understand the value of being positive in life. I want you all to read this book and just hear out what he wants to say. His message is important for all of us.
The lips pursed in fear and the brow line arched in pain as the sparkling ring pierced the nose. Found this book to be a sparkling powerful and bold form of reading. To be the most specialized one, efforts are thoroughly required and that's the level of rich in class narration used in this book. The author has been well versed with the concept of dry leaves and blooming flowers as the book appear to be like filled up with different season like understandings and lesson delivered. To me, in this book, with a context regarding daily life, I found the book to be quite more than just relatable. I've been looking out for such work for a while longer and now is the period where I've actually found a thing worthy to be acknowledged by many. With different divisions of words in the book and with a beautiful characterization of how things could have been, the book appeared quite an interesting read where every concept made available is refreshing. Overall speaking of the appearance of the book, the cover page is quite smooth and so is the title which can easily pull one into reading it, like a magnet does to pull things closer. The narration is truly well made and the plotline is well designed. A beautiful read indeed.
This book is a bit different in terms that it's in the first person and it's a work of fiction but about the author's traumatic life. Tyler meets Lucy and he narrates his past very traumatic life to her. How his father was very abusive to his mother and his brothers and how they dealt with all that. How his mother's after several years finally left his dad when Tyler complained to the police what his dad nearly killed his brother. The boys were even molested by their cousin at a very young age. Do all these negative experiences put Tyler in a negative frame of mind forever? Does Tyler give love a chance even after a loveless life from the beginning? Do Lucy and Tyler have a relationship? It's a disturbing book but it's real, and the best part is the positivity that comes out of it by the time one reaches the end. The book is very fast-paced and almost rhythmic. Very quick read and definitely recommend it to all. It's a story but has life lessons for all of us. There is light at the end of the tunnel. There is hope for all. Just don't give up on what's is right and be thankful for life and every chance one gets in life. Good Read!
"I Couldn’t Find Her So I Created Her" by author Tyler Harrison. The author has very beautifully and flawlessly penned down his biography, the battles that he confronted, and the fearlessness that has made them the astounding individual that he is today. His underlying childhood trauma, which literally could give goosebumps to anybody, his struggles during college life, and his first love, all are the situations that the author depicted in this book were truly difficult. The author has even quoted various prose from Bible, which has given him the power to forgive the people that caused him mental trauma! The author on facing all these have truly come a long way, He has found a girl, who herself is overcoming her issues and ascending from them delightfully, the manner in which they associated and shared a bond was the most astounding subtleties of the tales. The fact that the author has written all of this in Rap sonnet style makes this book a valuable read. The writer has expressed all his emotions, reading through lines and you will be amazed to see the talent and positivity the author posses. I would recommend all the people to check this book out!
I Couldn't Find Her is a poetry collection penned by Tyler Harrison. This is a book in which the story is depicted through the poetries, it is a journey of the life of Tyler and Lucy together. It is a book about their past and how they overcome the whole process in form of poetry. The cover page is simple but it could be more interesting. The title of the book is very appropriate as the words and every line means something very deep and healing. Everyone goes through different and something they don't know how to put words into. But the author has done very well, converting these feelings to words. I have read many poetry books, they also consist of such great inspirational poems that one will feel great. I love reading all the poems in it. The theme covered in them is great, depicts every emotion very well. The emotional turmoil and then the motivation the poems give us something to fall in love with. The language used in the book is clear and the words used are elegant and precise. I'll appreciate the writing style of the author just because it is so relatable and inspirational. Overall, this book is recommended to all poetry lovers.
Our author notices all the injuries he had looked at all through his youth and all the challenges he has seen growing up. He lives with his folks and his dad has been continually mishandling his mom, him, and his siblings. They actually experience it until after numerous years when he admits to the police that his dad nearly slaughtered his sibling. That is the point at which their mom leaves his dad. Not simply this, he and his siblings have additionally been exposed to attack at quite a youthful age. Much more troubles follow further. However, I should state the author truly has something in him so that as opposed to confronting a ton of injuries and troubles he stood so pleasantly and accomplished Great tallness. The book is actually a motivation for those who simply get worn out or feel fizzled in her/his life. The writer from this book gives a solid message to us all that rather than a ton of troubles we can accomplish anything just in the event that we need as well. This is the own Story of the writer which he described to us all through this book. A live motivation is there proceed to peruse quite an incredible book!
Reading books with different narration approaches always fantasizes me. I had read and reviewed one of Tyler Harrison’s books before. “I Couldn’t Find Her” is of a different level altogether. Basically, it’s a poetic collection which coveys us a fictional story of Tyler characterizing himself with a girl called Lucy. It felt like a story more rather than any sort of poetic collection. And every lines should be read with utmost attention, as each has its own emotional accent. The protagonist of the story is Tyler who hails from a family where he had an abusive father who would always torment his brothers and his mother. Then he meets Lucy, the love of his life. To know what happens thereafter and to know his life, please have a read. What I Liked most about this book that the author put his entire emotions writing each and every lines of this book. The realness of the emotions and the emotional effects of domestic violence would definitely touch our heart and make you disheartening. Good and unique content altogether. A must-read!
The Title of the book made me keen to read this book. I thought it would be a Thriller but to my surprise, it's an autobiography. The book is the life history of the author. Though it says that it's a collection of poems but it's not much of a poem. It's a complete novel type. Tyler and his brother are a captive of child abuse. Their mother is also harrassed by their father. The author has suffered a lot in his childhood but never lost his hope and confidence. He has tried his best to overcome the fear and has made a decision to help others to grow. There he met with LUCY who is a film director. They both have suffered a lot which makes them close to each other and unique. The book is full of inspirational poetry and thoughts. A great effort has been by the author by putting up his emotions & pain in words. A commendable job. Though it's an autobiography but the language is easy. It's a medium-paced book so take your time to read it. This can be picked up by fiction, nonfiction, or poem lovers too. It can be read by everyone as it's a type of memoir which will make you laugh, cry, and will inspire you.
I have always been a lover of autobiographies and memoirs. And this book which is a collection of poems about true incidents has really impressed me. To talk about the book, It is the experience of the author Tyler and his lady love, Lucy. The author begins the book by saying, " I am writing it because I believe that my story needs to be heard so I can impact millions of people's lives for the liberation of others".I believe this book has served its purpose. The life of the author is not a bed full of roses. He has faced so many struggles that are evident in every single poem. He shares his experience with Lucy in turn she tells her own incidents in life. The feeling they had for each other turned into a beautiful love. They had suffered a lot but still, they had each other to rely on. The author has discussed love, harassment, suffering, abuse, and hope. He discussed how people were jealous and developed hatred in their own race. He has touched upon several contemporary issues too. As it is poetry every single word adds beauty to the book. Though it is poetry, it would be easy for anyone to read. The cover is so good. I just loved the book!
I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her is written by Tyler Harrison. It is about the author's life story. In short, it is the autobiography of the author itself. The flow of the book is really amazing. The narration made me feel that the author has definitely put in a lot of effort in framing each and every sentence of the book. The author speaks about the situations of his childhood. The trauma and obstacles he faced while growing up, the toxic and abusive relationship his mother went through touched me a little. The story reached heights when his father tried killing his brother. That is when his mother left his father. The difficulties follow even after that. And you know what is the best part and lesson of the book? It is the POSITIVITY that the author carries even after facing so much in life. And that is what I have learned from the story of the author, to shine even in my darkest days. Indeed a beautiful read. I loved the narration done by the author. A perfect book with lucid language and a catchy title. Also, the cover looks attractive. Waiting to read more from the author.
Before going into this novel, it's important to go in with no expectations and an open mind. There is not much structure and organization, it's more like taking the most beautiful colors of paint and throwing it at the canvas. I felt this worked, maybe some won't like it. But if you surrender yourself to just reading this and allow it to take you wherever it wants to, you will learn so much! Tyler uses storytelling, poetry, Hip Hop, and many forms of creative writing to ENCOURAGE the reader with hopes to end human suffering. Tyler has been through many forms of abuse, trauma, heartbreak, rejection, betrayal, and still managed to maintain his childlike spirit about him. That's the highlight for me. The author could have chosen to be bitter and decided that he was going to "Choose Love". That's heart! I could feel his joy for creative writing as I read his words, he cares more about the positive impact than the money. This book has countless gems and the champion mindset that everybody needs to take in. It's a good book and I feel it's only up from here!
When I read this blurb, I got more interest to read this book. "I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her" by Tyler Harrison is an excellent book full of the author's life experiences. The book is basically written with the author's personal experiences and that's the reason you will find each and every part so real and connecting. The story has been told in poems- he described how he meets Lucy, he shared about his faith in God, how he was traumatized and abused at one point in life, how he finds love and hope, and how he overcomes fears and moved on. I felt like I was reading the Author's life story. The plot talks about trauma and tragedy and there is no one who doesn't face any trauma in their life and I am sure if you pick up this book, you couldn't put it down. I appreciate the Author that he shared his experience through this book. His imagination skills, creativity, and writing style are very good. This is a page-turner book which will inspire you and encourage you. I recommend this book to everyone because for me it was a self-help book and I feel like everyone should read this.
This book is dipped from the first page to the end with so much love and tenderness despite the many tragedies in between. The idea of faith that this book presents to us is very impactful and insightful. It made me reflect a moment on how my faith is progressing and just how much I am devoted to my life. The story of the author's life made me empathetic and brought about a look back in life, and a walk through memory lane. The author has been through so much in one lifetime, and through this book, he wants the whole world to realize that not everything is difficult and impossible. He shows us that we need to keep our heads held high and be optimistic towards the future because no matter how bad things were, that is exactly how good they are going to be. Through the author's suffering, he has shown us that life is beautiful and worth living every moment of it because we only get one life to live, literally speaking. There is so much that this book talked about, from mental issues to abuse to genetic disorders. Do give it a read to find out more.
“I am writing it because I believe my story needs to be heard so I can impact millions of people’s lives for the liberation of others.” The book contains many autobiographical elements of the author. The story revolves around the struggles the author goes through in his life. He falls in love with a girl named Lucy but his journey is not smooth and even. A lot of adversities cover his life to sink him down in deep distress. Surprisingly he still believes in God no matter how tough his life appears to be. The book begins with lots of biblical quotes, the book also includes different kinds of biblical allusions. This is an interesting read as well as the hero. It feels like the journey of a person in order to seek meaning in his life. The book is rich with philosophy and spiritual thoughts. The elements of surrealism are present all over the story. We some doubt whether the protagonist suffers from oneirataxia. The thing that made me read the book is nothing other than the title. There's something hidden in the title. I loved this fantastic story.
I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her by Tyler Harrison is an attempt by the author to spread love, forgiveness and ease the suffering. It's more of an autobiographical account told by the means of rhyming lines which is a unique quality. The ability to keep up the poetic touch throughout the story is very admirable. The honesty and realness with which the book is written are what touch the heart. It feels like knowing the story of a very genuine person, telling you the truth. The book is a short read, and once you read a few pages, you get into the flow. Some incidents that the author has gone through are disheartening, be it witnessing domestic violence, the state of homelessness, or getting molested in childhood. It takes real courage to pen down what one has been through and more to forgive the abuser and try to spread positivity with your story. The book has a unique writing style with lots of rawness in terms of the content. It's safe to say that this book is one of a kind.
This book reminded me of to quote said by Gautam Buddha - "Pain is inevitable and suffering is optional." None is spared from suffering but it's our choice that makes difference. It's our attitude what to pick from offered by life. Tyler Harrison's "I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her" is a story about the author himself and his own life expressed in a poetic way. When Tyler meets Lucy and shares how his life truly has been in childhood, how he was inspired to write. His childhood has been so pathetic traumatic, seen domestic abuses done by his father with all his siblings and mother. It's his affirmative attitude towards life that however life has been rude to him but couldn't break him down, despite he is more kind and forgiving. His perspective towards the world is kind and loving. He believes it's the love in humans that can uplift one from suffering. It's narrated in first-person perspective in smooth language so it is a quick read too. I would recommend giving it a read as it's inspiring to see hope and love and keep it kindled despite any difficulties and misery.
This is an autobiography of the author but with a little touch of fiction to it. This is about the author's journey by himself that he has experienced, written so beautifully. The author has presented about not giving up, self-love, and knowing your potential is so beautiful. So Tyler meets a person called Lucy then he narrates his life to her. About his family, which has an abusive father who always troubled his mother and brothers. It is slightly dark, yet it is a vital issue to talk about, and writing a book on this topic is impressive. This is a fast-paced book. Characters were developed well. Language is easy. It is definitely not for beginners because of the plot.
The book has been narrated in a unique way. The whole book is a story and it has been beautifully portrayed in the form of poetry. The author has expressed the ups and downs of his past to Lucy. And in the same way, she shares about her past which makes them connect through each other, and eventually love blossoms between them. The book has a strong message at the end which focuses on self-help, realization, and never giving up attitude. The narration of the situations is impressive. The author has penned down a very impactful message which is another highlight of this boom. Overall the book is fast-paced and has a positive message. I personally liked the writing style of the author. Vivid emotions have been significantly penned down in these poems. The emotional effect that poems are filled with made me stick to it page by page. The book is fast-paced and I really enjoyed reading it. A must-read unique book!
First of all, let me confess that the book wasn’t something I have expected it to be. It's actually the autobiography of the author, who wants his story to be heard and impact the lives of the readers. The author had a very tough childhood, from being the son of an abusive father to getting molested by the cousin, it was too much to handle. But still, he emerged as an optimist with lots of positivity. What makes the book unique is indeed its writing style. It is a novel narrated with poetic elements. Though it appeared impressive at the beginning, the lengthy paragraphs without any cut made it difficult to keep the focus on. Also, the whole book is divided into just two sections without any chapters, which completely contradicts my preferences. The author has narrated the book directly from his heart and discussed love, hardships, suffering, hope, and so on. And both the cover and title seemed perfectly apt. Overall, it is an emotional journey, and those who love autobiographies can give it a try.
The book 'I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her' by Tyler Harrison is an autobiographical read. The book starts with the author telling about his life, while he is in conversation with a film director Lucy. Though the blurb of the book says that it is a novel told in poems, it is mostly prose, though there are some poetic and rhyming elements in some of the paragraphs The characters in this book are well developed and portray an empathetic side. The writing style is simple, though the pacing of the narrative is repetitive, and also slow in parts. However, one feels for the author while reading about his life's struggles, and his story will definitely strike a chord with the readers. The book's narrative also discusses themes like harassment, abuse, trauma, and molestation. So, these are trigger warnings that readers should look out for. This is a very brilliant book about the author's life which has a lot of ups and downs. The author has a very traumatic life and the author has told this story in such a poetic and rhythmic way that is different and unique. Tyler is a man with an irregular past he got negative parenting from his father who abuse their family. Tyler has a brother after her mother and father. After all his father's abusive behavior Tyler's mother finally left her husband because his behavior has reached deadly to her sons. Once Tyler meets Lucy, who has a very similar past and Tyler is attracted to her. Sometimes empathy is greater than sympathy. But finally, after all of his taught him a lesson that he should appreciate his life because we live once. Very is very emotional and at some point, you feel very a pity for the author but for a book, the author worked well enough to make his readers emotional. Storytelling is awesome. I like the presentation and this is such a very interesting book, all my friends should try this once!
I Couldn’t Find Her So I Created Her by Tyler Harrison is the first book I’ve ever read that narrates the whole story in the form of poetry. Never in my life could I have thought of such a concept and expected to like it. But surprisingly, I was so invested in the book that I completed the book in one sitting. Being a writer myself, I can understand how difficult it would have been for the writer to write such a concept. Not only that, but even the story is so gripping and interesting that you cannot put the book down without finishing it. The fact that it is written from the author’s personal experiences makes it all the more real and interesting. This book certainly has it all - trauma, tragedy, hope, love, etc. The journey through which the author takes you is beautifully expressed. Apart from all of this, even the title is well chosen and the cover is gorgeous. I would for sure recommend everyone to read it at least once.

"I couldn’t find her so I created her” is a heart-wrenching and interesting story. It is an autobiography and that is not my usual genre, but oh boy, am I glad. This book is filled with twists, turns, and a considerable amount of suffering. The protagonist fell in love with Lucy and shared his life history with her including the abuse faced by him, his mother, and his brother at a very early age. As the plot progresses the suffering does not ease but Tyler becomes more kind and selfless. His character remained extraordinary and his thoughts were deep and prominent. The whole novel is written in a poetic manner. The wisdom that the writer imparts is precise. He focused on a number of universal issues and some minor ones as well that may have a big impact on our lives but we usually tend to ignore them. I will recommend this book to the ones who like heavy reads.

This book is an autobiography written in a way of poetry rather than long reading text which was something very new for me. The author narrates his life story to the love of his life. He speaks about his childhood trauma how his abusive father destroyed his childhood together with the life of his mother and brothers too. Reading the part of the book really tore me apart and left me in the deep thinking of "How someone can do this to his family?" But it was really motivating and inspiring to know how the author managed to cope with this and didn't give up and started to make his life better. The book is written in simple and lucid language.
