The book is the autobiography of the author himself. The story starts with him meeting Lucy, a film producer, and director. On the very first date, the author pours out all about his life, traumas, abused childhood, violence, etc. Lucy also tells about herself and how she does not fit into the binary of gender. How she has both male and female chromosomes and what that means for the social and mental and physical aspects of her life. I just loved reading this part as it was very informative and very well explained. What turns their lives take from here? Will they come out positive and strong from these experiences? Read to know more. Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her is a novel told in poems, chronicling author Tyler Harrison's experience with abuse, trauma, life, love, and God. It is a very impressive written piece, while the undertone and instances are all sad, still, the reader feels positivity and strength while reading this. The book is easy to read and easy to understand. Many incidents are heart-wrenching but still inspiring. Overall a good read!
"The relationship between brain activity and conscious experiences is still a mystery." "The illusion of truth- the things we are exposed to repeatedly seems truer due to cognitive ease." This book is a beautiful blend of love and trauma. The author has brilliantly presented the stories of this childhood pain, trauma, abuse, and love. He has not only shared his parts with us but also gave an insight on how to deal with bad days. The book is ornamented with lucid language, pomes, and rhyming words, which makes the reading more fun and interesting. The autobiographical element is the real charm of the book, giving an explicit rawness and newness to it. The book is easy to read and easy to understand. The read was very informative, heart-touching, and engrossing. This book would be an excellent choice for beginners to start with. Overall a good quick read. Happy Reading!
The author is very kind and mature for his age and is truly blessed with the ability to create such mesmerizing poetry with his words. The novel is very encouraging and motivational to anyone who will read it with an open mind. It bravely talked about so many injustices caused towards humans by humans. The message from the author through his book is clear, vivid, and strong. Its underlying theme is simple. Love. Love everything and everyone truly. In times like these, we need to remind ourselves of what we are, what we need, who we are, and most importantly why we are here. Aside from being philosophical, the book talked about abuse, harassment, and genetic disorders that most people shun and refuse to acknowledge. Although the story seemed at times biblical and leaned a bit towards preaching, the main theme of loving and serving others along with the author's brilliant writing skills more than made up for it.
I am so happy one of my friends gifted it on my birthday, and it ended up being an excellent present. With solid and distinctive wonderful substance the creator presence his previous involvement in brutality and languishing. I have consistently wanted to peruse books with genuine touch and it satisfies my craving. Never surrender the mentality of Tyler and Lucy, and Tyler's disclosure of affection towards verse and cosmology will propel you in the excursion of finding yourself. The issues explained by the maker are not illusory, From my guaranteed perspective, I relate to his inconveniences and the conditions where he was set into and how he got away from those. Everything considered appears to be a story we all in all need to view as it's close to our spirits. We all encounter high focuses and depressed spots and sometimes the wounds where life puts us are unique so much that it eliminates ages to be fomented from our memory, once in a while it never truly leaves us. This story contains the desire for continuing with life despite the dazes and uncalled events we experience and obviously trains us to make out the positive side of everything tolerating that something extraordinary is probably kept there for you, it's simply requiring exertion to reach there. As a rule, it is a faultlessly woven, relatable, awakening story which has made an important spot in my soul and will surely make in yours too.
A book which speaks volumes about love. It focuses much on the theme of love right from the beginning till the end. Touches upon other issues as well which is painful but it is not detached from reality indeed. The tone of the author is pedantic where the intention is to teach the lesson to his readers. Emphasis on 'faith' and how faith helps one to overcome the journey of abuse and downfall. There is truth and the style is poetical.
"Forgive and you will be forgiven". I couldn't find her so I created her by Tyler Harrison is the autobiography of Tyler. This book is based on a true story. With this book, he wants to impact many people's lives for the liberation of others. The book starts with biblical phrases. It's the story of love, abuse, and pain. It's the story of Tyler and lucy's life. The whole story is the narration of Tyler to lucy. My view- This book is written in the poem while maintaining the storyline. He suffers a lot growing up and write this novel so he'll help others. The language is lucid, the cover of the book is very mesmerizing. The book is interesting. I've mixed feeling about the book, somewhere I like it while somewhere it's a bit confusing.
Basically, the book is written using the personal experiences of the author. The title of the book totally suits the plot and the cover is also very catchy. The story is about trauma and tragedy that we may all experience at some stage in life. It's about how at some point in life he was humiliated, how he learns to love and hope, and how he overcomes his fears. This book is an inspiration for the readers I felt really good while reading every line and how the things were presented in a very simple way. If you are feeling low these days and want to try something unique this book is for you and I am sure you will feel relaxed so just Go for it. Happy reading!
This book is like a diary of the author where she has not only penned down her life experiences but also the events which made her write poems. To quote one of the examples, she wrote a poem when she was in class 6th and was attending Mrs. Rakestraw’s class. “The light in the sky, at it reflects down the water, .................. “ “Jets fast cool.........” “ Dig a hole under the snow.............” One thing that lacks is the poems are not published the way they should have been. They aren’t lined properly and look more like paragraphs. A bit confusing at times when the story ends and when the poem starts. The concept is good but lacks synchronization.
