To be honest, if anyone could have given me anything growing up, being rescued would have been my first choice. I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her is a novel told in poems, chronicling author Tyler Harrison's experience with abuse, trauma, life, love, and God. Don't be afraid to speak up about abuse; it is serious.

It is an autobiography presented in the form of poetry. The message of the book is very simple yet strong. The author mainly wants to tell that loving yourself and others is the best way to live. The book begins with the author meeting this lady at the mall and asking her out on a date. To him she is different. On their first date, he opens the chapters of his past where he strangled to survive. His father's torture, obesity, bullying at school, not having a house to live in, and more. On the second date, Lucy (his date) talks about her life with Turner's syndrome. They talk and are captivated by each other's ideas and support for being not normal in the world. Eventually, they fall in love. In the end, he (the author) has a beautiful family with kids and a loving wife. I love this irony. The writing style of the book is very different. A novel as poetry. There are poems too long and too short. The poems on finding love, growing up, becoming, falling in love, marriage, and lessons of life make up the book. It is a painful read which is motivating and empowering at the same time. I love how the author/ poet becomes too aggressive and soft again while writing. The poems are the true essence of Tyler Harrison's life. He has put a lot of effort into it. One can feel this way while reading this book. I'd recommend this book to poetry readers and those people who are looking for motivation after having faced failures in their lives.

I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her: Wrestling with new concepts, I got them from downstairs by Tyler Harrison I like the author's writing style very much. I am satisfied with the way it is expressed. It's like in short, it says a lot. The author’s storytelling is so gripping that it effortlessly pulled me into her world and made me a part of it! This book is the author's autobiography. A novel was written inside the shape of poetry. You can feel the pain of the author through his words. The tale begins with him meeting Lucy, a film producer, and director. On the very first date, the author pours out all about his life, traumas, abused childhood, violence, etc. Love everything and everyone truly. In times like these, we need to remind ourselves of what we are, what we need, who we are, and most importantly why we are here. The book is ornamented with lucid language, pomes, and rhyming words, which makes the reading more fun and interesting. This book is an inspiration for the readers I felt really good while reading every line and how the things were presented in a very simple way. I really appreciate the author for having the confidence and belief about writing this unique book. I am really thankful to the author for providing me with such a beautiful book. Great job by Tyler Harrison, and wishing this book heaps of success! This book is definitely for you. I really enjoyed reading this book.

This book is a novel plus an autobiography, beautifully gathered by summing poems penned down by the author. He begins his story by telling his lady love lucy how difficult his life had been and how he faced a dark past from a young age. With the abnormalities and abuses, he had grown in, and later Lucy too shared the struggles she faced all her life. Without revealing much just want to say they both gave us all a lesson on how important it is to not give up on life so easily. Highly recommended for those who are having a hard time in life. Read it once and feel that not just you but many have problems which are remained untold and be grateful for the author who shared his story to put an impact on people and to liberate them, who are suffering from near the same. The realization will come when all the bad vibes are gone, the thoughts that replicate your mind from dusk till dawn. Concluding by saying life has too many good things to offer. Never lose hope and be yourself, happiness will arrive anyways. It might take a while but it will.

The book is the autobiography of Tyler Harrison. Its heart touching poetry to read!! Firstly I get attracted to the title of the book which means that if we couldn't find something in our life so then we can achieve or create it by the power of our own or by trusting ourselves!! The poetry is written so well that we get to feel dèeply every situation by which the author goes through. The book is quite relatable to one's, here author shares his two phases of life; firstly, he tells us about his all trouble or sufferings which he goes through in his life in every age and secondly, he simply taught us how to be optimistic and how by his trust and strength he overcomes all his pain!! The most learning thing I get from this book which I try to apply in my own life is that how we get over our bad days or trouble situations by being positive about every situation in life... One can overcome every pain and suffering by having trust in yourself and most importantly I like the best thing about the author is the trust and faith he had in God, in Supreme. So the book is a nice read for me as I learned good lessons from this and would recommend it to all.

The main protagonist is Tyler, who meets a person called Lucy. He narrates his life and all the struggles he went through his entire journey to her. Especially about his family, which has an abusive father who always tormented his mother and brothers. He fell in love with Lucy, but then the afterlife was didn't go well. The bitter phase slapped him down. However, he really tried so hard to cope up and handle the situations smoothly. The integrity and genuine incidents with which the book is written are what touch me. He didn't add glitters to the plot, he made it as crisp as possible. I really felt so connected with the story. I felt the story is more of a fictional prose form than a poetry one. This is a fast-paced book. The characters were developed well and the baseline of secondary characters was rooted very well. Language is lucid and the writing style is definitely a different one. The cover is good. The topic and the tagline are well inclined with the main plot. I must appreciate the author bringing out a new style of writing. It was so engaging throughout. The author spoke about sensitive topics which may trigger some readers, so it is definitely not recommended for beginners.

This book is the autobiography of Tyler Harrison. This autobiography is not at all a simple one. It's different as It is filled with varieties of emotions that are engrossed into pain and hope. The book, in detail, explains what the author has undergone to be here today. He faced been a lot of trauma in his childhood. With a physical & verbal abusive father, he has gone through seeing his mother & brothers get beaten up & shouted at. He has also been molested at the age of four by his cousin. And he was basically left on the road when his mother’s boyfriend kicked everyone out of the house. Emerging from that background and having a positive attitude on life is miraculous, and this journey is beautifully written in the book. The book is a bit disturbing, but it's real, and the best part is the loads of positivity that comes out of it by the time one reaches the end. The book is very fast-paced and almost rhythmic. It's a very quick read and it's a story but has life lessons for all of us. There is hope for all. Just don't give up on what's is right and be thankful for life and every chance one gets in life. It's definitely recommended to all as it's a fantastic read!

The story starts with the author meeting a girl who happens to be a film director "Lucy" the girl is also a producer the author asked her out on a date, and she agreed to go on a date with him. On the date, the author talks about their lives and infancy boyhood, and girlhood. The author speaks about his childhood trauma how his abusive father destroyed his childhood together with the life of his mother and brothers too. At a young age, only he faced so many bad situations in his life and later Lucy too shared the struggles she faced all her life. To know more about what happened next go and grab a copy of this book. The cover is very attractive. The characters of the book are well developed and it shows like reality. The author talks about all possible things in this book. I Couldn't Find Her So I Created Her, a novel featuring the author Tyler Harrison's experience with abuse, trauma, life, love, and God. First of all, the book blurb is misleading. It's not a novel told in poems. It's a fully-fledged novel, the author is the protagonist, and this is the author's autobiography or memoir! I'm sorry for all the hardships the author has to face throughout his life. Some of the moments were really heartbreaking. The author had an abusive father, an entirely disturbing, abusive childhood. The author says he doesn't want us to feel sorry for him, rather take inspiration and he wants to impact the world, wants to remove suffering from the world. The author has poured in his entire life with emotions and all his feelings. Talking about my reading experience, it was alright in the beginning but later it felt like a cry more than a tale to share inspiration, I felt a little bored at times. The opinions might certainly differ, this is just mine. Do not know how the title is suitable. Happy that the story ends on a positive note, and hope that no one has to bear such things, although this is the pathetic reality of life. These things exist, and it's brave of the author to write about them.
