However, each finds solace in their life and help each other. Mark De Young is a former educator and has taught for 14 years. He tries to introduce innovative ideas in his classroom to elicit the interest of his students. He graduated from the University of Arizona with majors in Elementary Education. In 2010, He did Masters in Curriculum from the University of Phoenix.

The author has previously published a few poetry books but this one is close to his heart. He started this project with his wife when she was diagnosed with cancer which proved fatal. It was a medium for the couple to cope with the distress of impending death. He wrapped up the project after she passed away in 2002. Later, he resumed the project on his own and made sure that it was published so others dealing with a similar situation can benefit from his experience. Jere is a psychotherapist and a poet who has a good amount of published poetry work to his credit. He is no more a widower as he re-married to Monica Schurtz and lives in Arizona.
Maureen Penrose is the editor of the book ‘My Northern Adventure’, she will be hosting a book signing event at October Books, Southampton, on behalf of the deceased author, Edwin Henning. ‘My Northern Adventure’ is the story of seventeen-years-old Edwin and his parents as they are forced to leave their home in consequence of bombing in Southampton. Consequential events led them to live in a village at the outskirt of the city, nearer to the residence of Edwin’s aunt. Within a few weeks, young Edwin leaves for Liverpool with the shipping company that employed him. Every week he wrote letters to his mother detailing his work routine and expressing his worries for the safety of the family. Maureen Penrose calls England her homeland as she was born in Hampshire and had lived there till day. She had a career in teaching and holds an MA degree in Theology in Christian Liturgy, researching the effects of WWI on the working of churches and prayers. Maureen is a wife and a mother to three children and also has the joy of being a grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren. She is a member of two choirs and enjoys gardening in her free time.
