She will be chatting about her book with the audience, sharing her inspiration for the book, taking pictures and signing copies of the book for the fans. If a Bear Stops by for Tea is a heart-warming children’s book uncovering the story of a brown bear that happens to stop by for a cup of tea when a little girl with curly hair welcomes him. Upon his visit, he is not only offered tea and sweet delights but is also presented with friendship and hospitality. The book aims to amuse the children as well as adults with heartfelt and whimsical illustrations. Malorie Anne Castle grew up on a farm in Gresham, Oregon where she developed the love for writing and drawing. She worked full-time on an ambulance and volunteering for rural fire departments during her young adult years. She also raised two children alongside her full-time work. She has written and illustrated several first aid instruction manuals. She also played a significant role in the development of an emergency medical training center for the welfare of society. Wildlife and nature are the muses of her new stories and art. She writes stories for children to fill their minds with creativity and brilliance.

Her first work was inspired from the life of a friend who returned home from the military with PTSD. She then saw the therapy sessions that horses were doing with the patients suffering from PTSD.

The adroit, Bill Fairbairn began his career as a newsboy, a part-time rugby reporter and an apprentice printer with Jedburgh Gazette which led him into the realm of journalism. He is an editor emeritus, photographer and a staff writer for the community newspaper, The Riverview Park Review, Ottawa. He lives there with his lovely wife, Janina. He has done tremendous work for newspapers, magazines, and even radio.
