Don Moore was born in Montreal, where he worked as a lithographer. He graduated from a four-year program at the Montreal Graphic Arts Technical Foundation in 1979. Don later moved to Nova Scotia, where he took his first woodturning lessons in 1995. He is a founding member (1996) and past President of the Nova Woodturners Guild in Halifax. He began his writing career in 2020 and has three novels to his credit, including Memories of a Kid from the Heights, Two Keys to Enter a Parallel World, and The Mystery of Black Rock Harbor.
