Raskal Finds a Friend

The forest is a big and scary place for a little wolf pup, that is until Raskal bravely ventures through the trees on his own. Raskal’s family all seems a little too busy to play today but he is determined to find someone to romp around with. His mother always reminded him of the rules of the forest, especially to stay away from bobcats. However, when Raskal is in trouble and has no one around to help, he is forced to rely on an unlikely friend. This adventure story highlights the importance of tolerance, acceptance, love, and friendship.

Raquel Ryan was born and raised in a small town in Michigan. She is an elementary teacher who shares her love of reading and writing with her students each day. Raquel has always been intrigued by wolves and has written many short stories about them. Her inspiration came from the first time she watched the movie Balto, and ever since then, she has eagerly researched and shared her knowledge of wolves. Raskal Finds a Friend is Raquel’s first published children’s book. She currently still lives in Michigan with her dog Jake
