If you are looking for a fun book to read, this is it. The rhyming flows easily. The illustrations have a lovely simplicity to them and interesting scenes to help the child describe what's going on. The child in the story has a predicament to resolve and Joe the dog does not make the resolution easy! It's a scene that could play out in any child's home who has pets which makes this story completely relatable! I look forward to reading this story many times!
It's real life and nothing far-fetched about a boy and his dog. It is quite colorful and my 2-year-old granddaughter loves to look at the pictures and point out everyday stuff she sees and can relate to. My 4-year-old grandson likes to try and tell the story in his own words. Hoping to hear more of Joe's adventures

Joe's antics are brought to life with colorful illustrations that perfectly capture each moment, and the rhymes flow smoothly. This lighthearted journey reminds the reader to pay attention to the important parts of life (such as our animal companions). I am looking forward to Wolfe's next release!
Very happy with the book, and the kids really liked Joe. It's kind of refreshing to see a kids book that isn't trying to force a message; it just gets to be a fun story. Pictures were great too!
