Shawnda Walker was originally inspired to become a published children’s book writer at a very young age. Storytime in school was magical for her and she knew then that someday she wanted to create stories of her own. She is so excited that her childhood dream has become a reality and hopes that her book will create the same joy and excitement for other children that she felt growing up! In addition to writing children’s books, Shawnda loves to paint, draw, and write poetry as well.
