Molly’s first day of school is anything but smooth. Art class makes her want to disappear, lunch feels like she is on a deserted island, and being a tiny flamingo with green spots has her wondering where she truly belongs.

But when Molly crosses paths with a creative sea turtle, a sweet-smelling skunk, and a wide-awake owl, her journey takes a fascinating turn. Each new friend has something special to share, but will their wisdom help Molly find where she fits in?

Erin Clemens works as a substitute teacher and spent the last eight years working with children in Pre-K where she got to share her love of books with new readers every day. She lives in Illinois with her husband, son, two cats, and two dogs. Erin enjoys reading, practicing yoga, traveling, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.

Kristin Puccetti has been sharing her passion for books with children for 28 years as a Pre-K teacher where she spends her days preparing little ones for kindergarten. She resides in the Midwest with her husband and three dogs. Kristin enjoys reading, camping, and crafting on her Cricut.
