Debbie Spencer will be paying a visit to The British School of Marbella on Wednesday 3rd February. Hoping to inspire a new generation of budding writers, she will be discussing her experiences of becoming a published author, as well as reading extracts from her Monty And His Amazing Adventures series.
Mark Roberts, author of Lean, An Ongoing Journey, will be signing copies of his book and speaking with readers at Blackwells Leeds on Tuesday 2nd February from 6.45. Lean, An Ongoing Journey is a comprehensive guide to the Lean manufacturing philosophy first devised by Toyota Production. Mark Roberts uses his years of experience to discuss how this process can be adapted for any workplace.
Amanda Hart will be holding a workshop at Neal's Yard, in Bury St.Edmunds on Sunday 31st January 10-5pm. Amanda Hart will be at Covent Gardens's 'The Poetry Cafe' on Thursday 21st January 2016, from 6.30 - 9.30pm for the launch of her autobiography 'The Guys Upstairs'. There will be welcome drinks and nibbles as well as a chance to meet some inspirational people who Amanda has worked with over the years. Amanda will be holding an author talk about her book and will finish the evening with personal book signings.
Penelope Barrass will be attending a local primary school in Morpeth on Wednesday 13th June with her book 'Derek the Dragon's Food Tasting Adventure'. Penelope will be holding a workshop with the Early Years pupils, where the children will be trying some of the edible foods in the book and trying some different ones.

These range from the children's books Hong Kong - Amazing Tales (1992) and Megan and the eBike (2003), to textbooks and pantomimes. Her musical, The Magic Jungle (2007) had its world premiere in Hong Kong, and is now represented by Origin Theatrical in Sydney and Theatrical Rights Worldwide in New York. Jean has a Doctorate in Creative Arts from the University of Western Sydney. Originally from London, Jean lived in Hong Kong for 23 years. She currently resides in Sydney with her husband, and Tiger, of course.
