Our Author Vince Alan Willenbring held a successful book signing for his novel “The Heidi Code” at the Bookstore At Fitger’s in Duluth. The event took place on March 21st and gave shoppers at Fitger’s Mall a chance to meet the author in person and pick up signed copies of his book. The signing was a strong success, with walk-up sales and additional signed copies left for the bookstore’s shelves. 

The Heidi Code is a mystery thriller set in Duluth, Minnesota around an old mansion called Hickox House. The mansion has a hidden secret, a strange coded message and frightening stories about what may be lurking on the property. Ed Hickox enters the house hoping to find his Aunt Heidi’s lost inheritance, while Billy Steele, a young writer comes looking for an idea for a bestselling story. But as they get closer to the truth, they may find out that the mansion is hiding something far more dangerous than treasure.  

If you enjoy suspense and dark mysteries, this book is worth reading.  

Vince Alan Willenbring was born in a suburb of Dallas, Texas and has lived most of his life in Minnesota. He has always loved mysteries, frightening stories and suspenseful films. He felt that Duluth, Minnesota would be the perfect place for this kind of story.
