Author Wesley Moore III’s coming-of-age novel Today, Oh Boy was recently featured and reviewed by 24-7 Press Release, which also praised the book’s strong reception on the Kirkus Reviews platform. 

Set in 1970 South Carolina, Today, Oh Boy captures one unforgettable day in the lives of Rusty Boykin and Ollie Wyborn, juniors at Summerville High School. As the counterculture movement collides with the traditional values of their conservative town, the story explores the tension between conformity and rebellion through an unforgettable mix of preppies, jocks, hippies, and defiant country boys. 

A native of South Carolina, Wesley Moore III taught English at Porter-Gaud School in Charleston for 34 years before retiring in 2018. His work has appeared in literary magazines, earned multiple awards, and been featured in anthologies. Beyond writing, he’s also an accomplished pictorial artist, known for his narrative photo collages.
