Tinto Wine and Cheese Shop at the Virginia Beach hosted the book signing ceremony of ‘The Burden of Truth’ by Valerie R. Drees. The book signing was very successful where the author was able to sell all of her signed books.   The book is based on the story of Tori Daniels and her family secrets. They say that every family has their secrets and it is better if they remain the same because they could cause much harm if they are exposed. Similar is the case with Tori. She finds out some unraveling truths about her family which is really shocking in nature but sooner she realizes that these are not her secrets to say but it is just a burden which she has to carry for her lifetime. The author, Valerie R. Drees, for many years, was associated with the business of interior designing and she also worked in the same department for banks in California. She taught History as a subject in her posting at Mayfield Senior School in California. After that, she also taught European History along with English as a second language. This is her first novel up to date which represents her entry into the field as a full-time writer.
