Barnes & Noble (Holyoke, MA) hosted a successful book signing event for ‘Christmas Witch, the Gift of Angels’ a young adult book by Theresa Pelegano. The event went well and was a memorable afternoon with excited readers. Jessica Winters, awkward teen often bullied at school is accompanied by her protective friend Nick Claus. Soon they uncover the truth that them being together at Breyerton Academy is more than just a coincidence. An earth-shattering truth about Santa Claus is revealed. The book’s message is that faith and hope can pull you through anything and of course, a little magic helps too. Theresa Pelegano, lives with her husband, Shawn and her two children, in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Telling stories to her children inspired her to begin writing them down. The Christmas Witch character is based on her daughter and was shaped while she was caring for her son who was struggling with epilepsy.
