Knoxville Daily Sun featured Nicole Lynn Synder’s book, ‘The Yellow Door’, which aims to raise awareness about human trafficking. The article shared a brief synopsis of the story and an introduction of the author. ‘The Yellow Door’ is the story of a 17-year-old Hope, forcefully taken away from her family and pushed down into the human trafficking. Living the worst nightmare of any women, she is constantly subjected to physical, verbal and sexual abuse, raped multiple times a day. The horrific experiences haunt her through the life that follows. Will she ever be able to leave her past behind. Joe Clemmons that comes later in Hope’s life may not be the right person to help her through her miserable life, but the least he can do is to be there for her. In Northeast Tennessee’s small town Nicole Lynn Snyder lives with her daughter and three pets. She started writing after a life-changing experience of a horrific experience. Nicole enjoys writing a lot. She loves spending time with her daughter who brings joy to her life and warms her heart.
