The Book Warehouse hosted Book Signing of ‘Walking in Somebody Else’s Shoes’

Suzanne Ludwig was at The Book Warehouse this weekend for the signing of her latest book; ‘Walking in Somebody Else’s Shoes’. She rocked the event by selling 20 copies at the event. The author met the audience there and talked about her inspiration behind the book. ‘Walking in Somebody Else’s Shoes’ is about the story of shoes and how we wear them. In the beginning, it narrates the story of our childhood when we try to wear larger shoes. We can derive a lot of information from a person’s shoes and who wears them. Shoes tell a lot about our personality, our occupation and what we wear to get us through the day. This may include many activities and specialized occupations like floating in space. Shoes seem to be a very dull subject to be discussed but they have a very substantial effect on our lives. Children will not only learn about different types of shoes through this book but also, how it feels like to be walking in someone else’s shoes. It feels very simple to think about being someone else but nobody knows what it’s like to be in someone else’s shoes. For the pain, they suffer and the difficulties they face can only be known by that person. The author, Suzanne Ludwig has been a registered nurse for the past 13 years. She holds the degree both in nursing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. In this book, she has brought together a very serious topic in a very humorous way for little kids to understand.
