‘The Book Room Collective’ Hosted a Book Reading and Signing Ceremony of Camilla Chance’s ‘Melissa & Kasho’
An event was held at ‘The Book Room Collective’ in honor of the book, ‘Melissa and Kasho’ which is written by Camilla Chance. At the beginning of the launch (after everyone felt satisfied having pizza and fruit juice), the interviewer announced that after she had interviewed the author, there would be question time from the audience, and whoever asks the best question would get a free hardback copy of the book, dedicated to them and signed by the author.
There was a little girl who asked the best question, ‘Why did your father say there were too many books in the world – ‘and no daughter of mine is going to add to them’ – when there are not too many books in the world?’ She was awarded later on.
This is a book about a teenage girl who feels apart from the temporary high society world as she ponders upon the depths of her despair. She becomes accustomed to a spirit which guides her through her troubles and asks her to stand up against this oppressive society. Her pain is real as she follows the resonating lessons of optimism, courage, and freedom throughout her life.
The author, Camilla Chance has written a number of award-winning books that are worth mentioning. She has written the best-selling ‘Wisdom Man’ which has been published in 5 different languages.
