
The Author of The Maze Gets Interviewed by Sioux City Journal
The author of the wonderful fantasy book The Maze, Mr. David Allan Evans, was recently interviewed by a local newspaper in his hometown of Sioux City, the Sioux City Journal. The interview was published on Saturday, February 6th, 2020. The article describes the inspiration of the author for writing the story and his love for Aesop’s Fables, which taught him lessons through one-dimensional characters. The Maze uses animals as its main characters to explain human nature. A very clever mouse along with his group tries to bring down the government of an old wise owl. He promises to build ‘The Kingdom of Sharing’. However, some of the other animals do not agree with his ideas. The book explains the necessities of survival.
