The Acclaimed Author Bill Fairbairn Participated in a Book Signing Event at Indigo

Author of book Newsboy, Bill Fairbairn participated in a book signing event at Indigo – Barrhaven. The event included a question-answer session between the author and his audience. He also read the excerpt from his book and talked about his inspiration behind writing this book. He also signed the copies of his book for fans. Newsboy is a gripping memoir by Bill Fairbairn, where he shared his journey from being a newsboy to entering the world of journalism and finally conquering it. The newsboy climbed a media mountain to survive media transformation and came down to a peaceful valley. Bill Fairbairn is a photographer, staff writer and editor for the local community newspaper, The Riverview Park Review, in Ottawa. That is where he resides with his wife. He has been working since the age of 15, first as a newsboy then as an apprentice printer and part-time rugby reporter with The Jedburgh Gazette, in the Scottish Borders. From here onward, began his journey in the field of journalism that carried him on to the ladder of success. He has taught journalism for two years at University of the North Thompson River. He has also been awarded the snooker championship thrice.
