Suzanne Ludwig Visited Book Warehouse in Lincoln City for Book Signing Event
Suzanne Ludwig went to the Book Warehouse in Lincoln City to discuss her children’s book, ‘Walking in Somebody Else’s Shoes’, and sign copies of it – the crowd loved the book and its content.
‘Walking in Somebody Else’s Shoes’ is a children’s book which teaches us the importance of different types of shoes that we wear during our lifetime. It all begins when we are small and try to fit in our elders’ shoes. We attach meaning to other person’s shoes and derive their personalities from the way they keep their shoes. The book says a lot about different shoes and the professions associated to them or what we do through our day. This may include many recreational activities, work or specialized occupations.
It might seem boring but a pair of shoes really does determine a person. We make easy comments on anyone about his behavior but we don’t know, what is it like to be in his shoes. Children will learn the difference between different kinds of shoes but also to respect the people who wear them, through this book as it is never easy to walk abstractly in somebody else’s shoes.
The author, Suzanne Ludwig has been a practicing nurse for the past fifteen years. She has graduated in nursing while she also has a degree in journalism.
