Our brilliant author, Stacy Thowe, held a book signing and reading event for her captivating book, God Bless My Broken Road. The event took place on May 15th, 2021. It was held at Barnes & Nobel, Kansas City. The author read an excerpt from her book and the audience had a great time interacting with the author.   God Bless My Broken Road takes us on the separate journeys of two lead characters, Sarah and Ben. On one side, Sarah’s life is torn down when her husband leaves her and their children for another woman. Their happy marriage of nineteen years is broken. On the other side, Ben is being pressurized by his family to fulfill his commitment to marrying his long-time girlfriend, who is an alcoholic. These unexpected situations force Sarah and Ben to live a life of struggles and hardships. But in the middle of all this, will they ever find love again?   Stacy Thowe was born and bred in Kansas City. She graduated from Washburn University, where she studied English writing. She had an aptitude for writing from an early age and would write about her life in a diary regularly. Through her published short stories and other writings, she wants to touch people’s lives and help them overcome the hurdles and obstacles of life.
