On May 24th, 2019, The St. Lucie Voice interviewed Kathleen Regan about her painful experiences outlined in her memoir, Unintended Consequences. In the interview, she discussed her personal experiences with adoption with the hope to help others who have faced challenging adoption circumstances.  This true story is sure to resonate with readers from all backgrounds as it is a thought-provoking story about a mother who struggles to keep her family connected. Unfortunately, as the mother arduously works to maintain the balance of her family this starts to take a toll on her personal well-being.  Kathleen Regan has been working as a writer and psychiatric nurse for the past 30 years.
