Sims Library Aired Sandy Gorman’s Virtual Reading Session

Sandy Gorman did a virtual reading session for Sims Library. The reading session was aired on Sims Library’s Facebook page on 23rd February 2021. Sims Library is a kids’ welfare library and Sandy donated her book, Pass the Note, the Lizard’s Loose, to the library. In the caption to the reading video, Sims Library thanked Sandy Gorman for the donation and for reading from her book. Being a reading specialist, Sandy read in an impressive manner, holding the book and showing the illustrations as she read. You can watch the video and be a part of the virtual reading session here. Sandy Gorman was an elementary school teacher. Her love for teaching stuck by her side as she aged. Now with two grandsons, Sandy is the author of a children’s book which illustratively captures a classroom’s bustle where something interesting is going on. One of the kids brought his lizard to the classroom but loses hold of it. Now the lizard is lose and the whole class is in trouble. Sandy has beautifully captured her classroom experience in this book, narrating one of the many incidents where children mess things up in their attempt to have fun and being adventurous.  Grab a copy of Sandy Gorman’s book here.
