Our very own Candice Gartzke receives a stunning book review by Readers’ Favorite for her book, RainShadow. The review got published on May 7th, 2021. You can read more of the review here.   RainShadow is a fairytale about a jungle princess, Rain, and her shapeshifter panther friend, Shadow. Rain can control the weather and climate of the forest through her emotions. When she is happy, there is abundant rain but when she feels sad, the rain stops pouring and thus the forest dries up. Her friend Shadow is among the group of panthers who have been protecting Rain since she was born. The strength of their relationship is tested when one day when Shadow goes out of the jungle at night to get a ring for Rain as a gift but gets trapped by a man. In the morning, Rain can sense danger and with the help of a spiderweb goes out to find Shadow.   Candice Gartzke likes to write children’s storybooks. She believes a storybook can change a person’s perspective and this can bring a change in the world.
