Penny Benjamin Interviewed by Time to Feed My Reads Blogspot for Book Linked
Penny Benjamin was interviewed by Time to Feed My Reads Blogspot for her romantic novel titled Linked. The interview delves into Penny’s past as a young teen who suffered a traumatic car accident that led to her being in a coma for two weeks. She talks about how her mother inspired her to read and eventually write. But after the death of her mother in 2006, she just could not bring herself to continue writing. It was not until 2019 that she decided to give it another try after the reassurance of her sons. Penny discusses how difficult it is to find a publisher and the journey she took to get her novels published.
Linked is a romantic novel about a woman named Emma who is living in the present but caught up with her past. She meets Dan, who falls head over heels over her. He knows he cannot live without her. But how will he convince someone who struggles with committing to be his forever?
Penny Benjamin was left alone at 16 after suffering a devastating car accident. She met her significant other at the age of 18 and started a family. She started writing at an early age and remembers her love for reading as early as seven or eight years of age. She indicates it was her mother who taught her writing as a form of escape. From Central Alberta, Penny has raised two boys, has been a real estate agent, and is currently enjoying her life as a writer.
