Paula’s interview was featured in The Cherry Hill Sun captioned “Paula Garcia Taveras debuts new book in time for the holiday season”. It shed some light on her family life, early childhood and her inspirations. Through the interview, we also discover that she aspires to build confidence, faith, and belief in a higher power.   Phoenix the Brave Bird is the book about the ultimate triumph of good over bad. Although evil came in and took over good destroying all the beauty. Through the magical power of love and friendship, Phoenix restores all that was good and beautiful. Apparently, the simple task was only possible through a complicated conquest within himself.   The started writing literature when a local newspaper the D.R., announced a children’s literary contest and she participated in the third category. She is also a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Currently, Paula and her son, Alejandro, live in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
