
Norris Vaughn III Interviewed by the Tullahoma for his Book
Norris Vaughn III was interviewed by the Tullahoma, The News, for his book Nightmares of the New Order. The interview was featured on March 5, 2022, and shared Vaughn’s inspirations for his horror novel. Vaughn explained that he used his time during COVID-19 to put down his decade-long collection of horror stories. He was inspired by Stephen King, short horror clips found on YouTube, and The Twilight Zone. You can read the article in full here.
Nightmares of the New Order is a horror novel of nine stories and six hair-raising poems. The book will haunt you and take you on a thrilling adventure as you delve into the sinister and disturbing side of terror. Nightmares of the New Order contains short stories on a wide variety of topics and themes, from the missing child who comes back from the dead to take reprisal from her killer to the young woman who gets a new job at a big store only to find an eerie mannequin stalking her. The book also contains a story that is personal to Vaughn regarding a traumatic childhood event that haunts him until today.
Norris Vaughn III has an Associate’s Degree in Pre-Law and has enjoyed writing as a hobby for many years. It is only recently that he has refined his writing skills with this new book. He has worked on and off for his graduate degree and is currently residing in Tennessee.
