We’re pleased to share that our author, Michele Winkour-Mahon, was featured in a newsletter under their 10 Questions series. In this feature, Michele discussed her delightful children’s book Unimaginable Ingredients for Shmoogily and the inspiration behind it. 

Unimaginable Ingredients for Shmoogily tells the story of children who struggle to find confidence in the classroom. Through the playful adventures of Oogily, Moogily, and Shmoogily, young readers learn about courage, self-expression, and discovering their own “unimaginable ingredients.” 

Michele Winokur-Mahon’s journey is as inspiring as her stories. With a background in dance and theater, she transitioned from performing on stage to teaching children with moderate disabilities. Alongside her husband, Paul, and their three accomplished children, Michele continues to share her creativity and passion for learning, always embracing life with joy, curiosity, and a dancer’s grace.
