Our author Michele McCoy welcomed young readers and their families to a special Barnes & Noble book-signing event at Gateway Courtyard, 1600 Gateway Boulevard, Fairfield, California. It was held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event featured both Apollo the Angora Goat and Apollo the Angora Goat and His Friends – Book 2. The signing offered Michele another wonderful opportunity to meet readers and share Apollo’s farm adventures with children and their families.

Apollo the Angora Goat is a children’s book about an Angora goat born and raised on a lively farm in California. Through Apollo’s experiences, young readers find the joys of farm life and the excitement of growing up alongside a diverse group of animal companions. The first book in the series invites children to join Apollo on a journey filled with fun, learning, and memorable adventures.

The story continues in Apollo the Angora Goat and His Friends – Book 2, in which Apollo introduces readers to more of the animals who live with him on the farm. As the characters experience new adventures together, they learn to interact and understand each other. The book offers a broader look at life on the farm while introducing new friends who will play a part in Apollo’s coming adventures.

Michele McCoy lives in California with her husband, Denney. They have two grown sons, two daughters-in-law and one grandson. A positive and fun person, Michele enjoys spending time with her family and sharing stories inspired by her animals and their lives on the farm. Writing the Apollo series has become an exciting adventure for the entire family.
