Mary Poole Brings Missing Beth, Missing Out To Her First Public Author Event

Mary Poole was featured in Journal & Topics ahead of her first public author event for her children’s book, “Missing Beth, Missing Out”. The event is set to take place at Gabriel’s Closet in Uptown and will give families a chance to hear more about the story, take part in interactive activities and find the book’s message in an engaging way.

Missing Beth, Missing Out is a picture book about friendship and learning how to handle unfair feelings in a healthy way. The story has two characters who are best friends Beth and Joni whose relationship is tested. With help from her mother, Joni begins to understand one of life’s most common struggles.

If you want a children’s book that teaches emotional awareness, this one is worth reading.

Mary Poole is a mother of seven and a teacher who brings creativity into her writing. Mary wrote this book to help families talk about economic differences and hope with young children. She also encourages parents and children to look at the world with love and build healthier ways to understand one another.
