The author of the wonderful children’s book, The Worry Rock, Loretta Welk-Jung, was recently interviewed and featured by a local newspaper, The Jamestown Sun. The feature was published on Wednesday, January 20th, 2021. The author spoke about her experiences as a school teacher for more than three decades and her journey of becoming an author. The rock on the dresser of her mother inspired her to write this story. The story was liked by the writer’s group, which led Welk-Jung to think about publishing it.
