A professor at Columbia University School of Public Health, Dr.Sederer also received Irma Bland Award for Excellence in Teaching Residents by the American Psychiatric Association in 2013. He was not only recognized as Psychiatric Administrator of the Year in 2009 but was also assured by many exemplifying grants and achievements that glorify his esteemed line of work. Dr.Sederer has published many books, articles, publications as well as books, TV, film, and theatre reviews. Not only has he been a medical editor for Mental Health for the HuffPost but has also written his opinions on mental health and addictions for a column in US News & World Report.
