Joyce Hoberg Kaatz Held a Book Signing and Reading Event for Her Children’s Book Titled Raising Little Stripe
Austin Macauley’s admirable author, Joyce Hoberg Kaatz, held a book signing and reading event for her fascinating book, Raising Little Stripe, at Village Cooperative Community Room. The event had a great turnout and the audience enjoyed interacting with the author.
Raising Little Stripe is the story of the beautiful and colorful butterflies we see around us. But do you ever wonder where these creatures come from? What do they do to spend their days and where do they go in the winters? This book gives children and adults a chance to know about the life stages of a monarch butterfly. It starts with a little caterpillar, who goes through different stages of development to become a butterfly. By reading this book, children can learn to take care of these butterflies on their own.
Joyce Hoberg Kaatz writes educational articles. She was born in Ortonville, Minnesota. She started as a nurse but eventually became passionate about nature. She distributes her time equally between her home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and on a lake-side land she has, close to Park Rapids, Minnesota.
