Our author Jennifer R. Chambers attended a book signing event of her children’s book, Macie Meets Her New Teacher, on December 7th. The event took place at the Mercer County Public Library, Kentucky. The audience was delighted as Jennifer distributed signed copies of her book. Parents and children equally enjoyed the story of this book. This book Macie Meets Her New Teacher is about a young girl, Macie. She is all set to start school. It is her first day at school and she is very excited about this. She finds new her new teacher. While doing so, she learns the responsibilities of different people who work at the school. It’s a great story to read to your children. Chambers is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. She got her BS in Elementary Education and since then, has improved her academic qualification. Presently, she serves as the Director of the Literacy Specialist Program and a Professor of Literacy at the University of the Cumberlands. She has served as a teacher for fifteen years before her career in higher education.
