Issam Ghazzawi held a book signing event for his children’s storybook, Danilo and the Chocolate Hills, on July 9th, 2022, around 2:00 pm at 5183 Montclair Plaza Lane, Barnes & Noble. The author’s signed copies were purchased and distributed amongst the event attendees. Danilo and the Chocolate Hills is a children's storybook based on a young boy Danilo and his buddy Carlo, who set out on the journey to the Chocolate Hills of Island Bohol in the Philippines in pursuit of free chocolates. Danilo’s parents, Ernie and Cora, were a hardworking couple. Ernie was a poor fisherman. They had high hopes regarding their son Danilo. They lived a joyous life full of love together on the culturally rich island of Bohol amongst its warm residents. The story is filled with accurate and praiseworthy details about the culture, history, geology, geography, and traditions of Bohol. Issam Ghazzawi is instructing management at the University of La Verne. He did his PH. D. from the University of Pittsburgh, his Master's in Labor and HR from the University of Ohio, and his MBA from the University of Sul Ross. He has extensive executive experience comprising more than 2 decades and has won numerous academic awards.
