The Warrick County Standard featured children's book author Christina Mizerak. The author talked about her book Dat Dare Monster and shared her inspiration for writing the book and credited the support and encouragement of her friends and family towards publishing her book. Dat Dare Monster is a lovely children’s book with colorful illustrations helping children combat the fear of monsters. The book is about a little girl who had trouble sounding her ‘TH’ and thus it sounded ‘d’. She was once kidnapped by a monster who took her to a tea party. She becomes friends with the monster and the monster leaves for a vacation. Christina’s lives in Chandler, Indiana with her loving husband and an adorable monster. She has always been keen about storytelling and illustrations. She enjoys telling funny stories to adults and children.
