Happy Paddler 2018 features newsletter about ‘The Idling Bulldozer and other Paddling Adventures’

Donald D. Yackel’s book ‘The Idling Bulldozer and other Paddling Adventures’ gets a newsletter at Happy Paddler 2018. The newsletter featured the book as a one man’s attempt to regain a deep connection with the natural world. The book has elucidated the concept of kayaking and how this adventure inspires others to experience the same. The book has voyages that take place at ten different places across US and Canada. In each adventure, the author explains the harsh and soft conditions that the natural world presents. Sometimes they are beautiful to experience and sometimes really hard to escape. The stories show the reconnection of an ordinary man with the Mother Nature and to glorify her in his own way. It is to be in harmony with it and to voice the voiceless sound of nature. The book is a collection of inspiring adventures which compels others to set out in the wildlife and experience its frightening, muddling yet amazing life. Donald D. Yackel was born under the sign of Aquarius and that might the reason for his utmost desire for water and boats. He used to spend his summers on Oneida Lake near Syracuse, New York where he learned a lot about nature. Over the years he has developed himself from sailing across Lake Ontario. He hosted canoe camping and finally went to kayaking. He also built a sailboat and a kayak along the way.
