
Five of Our Authors Got Featured on a Popular Books Blog
Five of our books were featured in a holiday gift guide on the popular blog, Life with Kathy. The blog recommended our titles, namely: Earl: The Christmas Tree Spider by Erin Rafanello Ferguson, The Fang and the Feather by Sabina Spencer, Don’t Let Go by Karla Martinez, Christmas Witch: The Gift of the Angels by Theresa Pelegano and When Do I Have a Say by Kizito Chukwunonso Anyanwu.
Earl: The Christmas Tree Spider is the children’s story about a forest furry spider Earl which came in a living Christmas tree from a Christmas tree farm. Erin Rafanello Ferguson is an event planner and a writer. This book came to fruition with the help of her two little girls Sawyer and Harlan.
The Fang and the Feather is a fascinating adventure out of this world in another galaxy, on an exotic purple planet about Zara and her friend Zak. They were in a virtual reality game and they joined a force of beings called the Nuffs in order to learn more about their grandmother’s disappearance. Author of the trilogy, Sabina Spencer’s writing helps us discover worlds for ourselves that are full of magical adventures.
Don’t Let Go by Karla Martinez narrates the story of a girl named, Samantha, whose life is short and this grief brings her to her crush’s best friend, Yael. Yael has a secret that puts Samantha in a confusion to choose between friendship and love or to choose life upon death. Karla was born in El Salvador and moved to the US at a young age. She is a young budding author and this is her first novel.
Christmas Witch: The Gift of the Angels is a festive book about an awkward teenager Jessica Winters. She’s bullied by kids for her appearance but Nick Claus is defensive of her since she arrived on the campus. Theresa Pelegano lives with her husband, Shawn and two children, Saraphina and Johnny in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
Author of the historical fiction book When Do I Have a Say tells the story of a young girl, Iholong. She remained strong and committed and refused to be like any other girl who is forced married or sold out to a man as a child, or who doesn’t get equal opportunities for education in war-torn South Sudan. Kizito Chukwunonso Anyanwu is from Ogidi in Anambra State, South Eastern Nigeria. Kizito is a missionary Catholic priest as well as a pastor and a high school teacher in the Catholic diocese of Torit, South Sudan.
