G.B. Gurland author of the charming book, Olives Where Are You? attended the East Hampton Library Children’s Fair event held on Sunday, August 11th. The audience showed interest in her book Olives Where Are you? and loved the book discussion with the author. They also acquired about her upcoming book, Emily Fisher Word Maven. The author truly appreciated the love and support she received at the event. Olives Where are You? is a fascinating story of the self-discovery of a girl who loves to eat olives. She would indulge in eating olives than to try new food. She does come along and find alternatives to her favorite food. A great lesson of embracing change and letting go of customary likes is beautifully instructed in this book. G.B. Gurland has been a teacher for four decades and has extensive experience of working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Her teaching career learnings played a part for her in publishing several workbooks for vocabulary development. She is also an author of a middle-grade novel ‘The Secret Files of Phineas Foster’.
