Christine Thelker’s Book Awarded the Richard Taylor Memorial Award

An incredible author of Austin Macauley, Christine Thelker, got The Richard Taylor Memorial Award 2021 for her book, For This I am Grateful. Dementia Alliance International awarded her book as it is an outstanding writing with respect to the DAI’s global advocacy.   For This I am Grateful is an inspirational book in which the author has explained her journey to live a happy life even after she was diagnosed with dementia. Being a widow, she had no resources to cope up with this health crisis. But she did not lose hope and continued to search about the treatment that led her to the Dementia Alliance International. After that, she came to know the pleasures of life while having dementia. Click here to get a copy of the book.   Christine Thelker is in Canada and was diagnosed with dementia five years ago. She has an optimistic and humorous nature. Spending time in writing, socializing, advocating, and playing with her dog is joyful for Christine.
