Austin Macauley’s very own superhero, Ben Blanchett, gets interviewed regarding his book based on autism by News 12 Long Island. The interview was aired on the channel’s ‘On a Positive Note’ section on March 8th, 2021. Ben Blanchett’s book, Maybe Autism is My Superpower, throws a light on what it means to have autism and how important it is to understand it. Ben offers his take on autism in his interview here.  Blanchett is of the view that autism is not a disease, illness, or weakness rather it is a strength. Autism is only a condition that makes one different, unique and such a condition is only synonymous with a superpower. The book is an interesting dialogue between an autistic kid and his mom in which Ben explains how his senses work differently and the way he views the world.
