Chapters Polo Festival Hosts Book Signing for Author Heather Robbins

On April 27th, Chapters Polo Festival in Winnipeg hosted a book signing for Austin Macauley author Heather Robbins. Robbins signed the copies of her book, The Hockey Game. With a handsome turnout, Heather was able to speak with some of her fans and sign a number of copies for those in attendance; everyone who attended was very excited to recieve signed copies of the book. The Hockey Game is a short fiction story about a little boy who loves to play ice hockey. The book describes his pre-game enthusiasm, mid-match resentment and the championship medal followed by the after-match ecstasy. It draws on an amalgam of emotions such as love, support, and consolation leading to newborn zeal and zest for winning. Heather Robbins resides in Canada and has spent most of her adult life living on Canadian prairies. She used to drive her son to and from the ice hockey games in the early and chilling frosty mornings and loved every bit of it. The inspiration for her story is drawn from her son’s experiences. She now feels blissful when she watches her grandson play hockey as she relives the moments she spent with her son by taking him to and watching his hockey matches.
