The bookstore at the Pointe Claire, hosted a book signing ceremony in honor of David Ranalli’s ‘Cautionary Tales from the letter D’. David Ranalli rocked his book signing at Chapters Pointe-Claire and sold all 13 copies of his book. The book constitutes 10 different stories of 10 different lives. The irony is that each story is derived from the letter ‘D’ which is quite intriguing to know. It is used as a welcome compilation for these very cautionary yet controversial tales. All of the stories are the results of author’s personal life experiences. The exaggeration provided to the events and the stories give it a flick of real life twists. The stories are dark in nature with times that are humorous and interesting. Each story has a very shocking end which keeps its readers engaged till the very last page of the book. The author, David Ranalli was born in the province of Quebec in Canada. He graduated from McGill University and is currently a teacher of English at a high school in Montreal. It was his interest in the teaching of literature that propelled him to jump into the memories from his past that are very dark but yet with a very electric narrative.
