A book signing event was held in honor of Valerie R. Drees’ thriller novel, ‘The Burden of Truth’. She had a successful turnout at her book signing event where everyone gathered to learn more about her exciting mystery book. The novel is based on many sinister secrets of a family for if they come to light then they will be very devastating in nature. The consequences are unimaginable and so is the destruction that it will bring along. When these long held secrets are uncovered by Tori Daniels, she realizes soon that these are not her secrets to tell rather it is something which she has to keep safe inside herself. They might be more damaging if they are exposed so to keep them untold is a favor that she has to do upon herself and also upon her family. Tori knows the fact that this is the burden which she has to keep for the rest of her life. The author, Valerie R. Drees has worked for many years as an interior design buyer for a bank. She has also taught History at Mayfield School in Pasadena. She taught European History and as well as English as second language at Tidewater Community College. This is her debut novel and is now she is concentrating mainly on becoming a full time writer.
