Mark De Young was present at Barnes & Noble in Yuma Arizona for the book signing of ‘Please Understand My Messed up Life – Tales from Greenwood Middle School’. Mark sold all 30 copies of his book at the event. Customers were delighted to learn more about his comic book about the ups and downs at Greenwood Middle School. Like at any ordinary middle school, every person comes along with their own special baggage of troubles. All of them, students and teachers have deadlines to meet, peers to please. Unique tensions stressing out average teachers and students, while in a comical way everyone awaits a benefactor. Someone that will reach out, just listen and understand. Walk through with them when they step up to help each other. All in a very interesting story with just the right amount of drama and spice. Mark is an extraordinary teacher with a vast experience of teaching. His innovative and interactive style of teaching has led his student to take on some amazing projects. He has been awarded “Intermediate Teacher of the Year-2010” for Yuma County.
