Book Reading of Olives, Where Are You? by G.B. Gurland At A School
G.B. Gurland spent a wonderful winter morning sharing Olives, Where Are You? with the kindergartners at Mazel Day School. G.B. talked with the students about their favorite foods, colored pictures of olives, and told stories during the book reading.
Olives, Where Are You? is an interesting children's storybook about a little girl who is very selective in what she eats. She will eat only olives no matter how much her parents insisted that she should try other foods too. However, eventually, on her own, she explores other tasty foods and learns that she can enjoy them too.
G. B. Gurland has an extensive experience of working as an educator with children, adolescents, and young adults. She has published many workbooks for vocabulary development and a novel for middle-grade students.
