Book Reading Event of B. E. Exon’s Children’s Storybook

A book reading event was held on 30th April 2022, by B. E. Exon for her children’s storybook, Moxie and the Kite-Bite’n Ash, at the Helen Kate Furness Library. Since it was the 120th anniversary of the library, a dogwood tree was also planted by the attendees as a souvenir of the event after the formal book reading. Moxie and the Kite-Bite’n Ash is a children’s storybook with captivating, colorful illustrations that instantly grab children’s attention. Moxie is an arrogant boy who goes out for a kite-flying venture on a sunny day with his buddy, Mr. Cat. Whilst he was trying to soar his cherished kite Apollo Pan to new heights, he stumbled upon something and tumbled down the hillside, only to find himself and his comrades on a perfect green pasture. Little did they know what they were up against. One of the trees in the meadow eats kites of kids. Unaware of the dangers lingering around them, they continue their kite-flying adventure. It is an intriguing story for kids. If you want your children to spend creative time learning, buy this book today. B. E. Exon is a former award-winning school teacher with the Wallingford-Swarthmore School. She has taught Indonesian and Irish children as well.
