Book Presentation of Acclaimed Author Lina Lisetta’s Living with the Little Devil Man

On April 8, 2019, Lina presented "The Opioid Public Health Crisis: Psychological Aspects" on the American International College campus. During the presentation, she introduced her book Living with the Little Devil Man and spoke of the main character, Sterling and his experience with opioids. The event was a triumph, the audience thoroughly appreciated the presentation and purchased the copies of her book. Living with the Little Devil Man is a very attention gripping biography based on the story of a boy, Sterling, who was lost to addiction. The boy was schizophrenic inundated by a little devil man. This schizophrenia got him hooked on to the heroin, as it seemed to be the only route to escapism. It shines a light on the answers that we seek. It imparts to us the significance of human connection and how to love and help others through dark times without judging them. Lina Lisetta resides with her husband and four dogs. She has her doctorate in Child and Family Studies from the University of Massachusetts. She teaches research methods at a small New England college. She is very zealous about her project which involves filming of individuals that are on a road to recovery from addiction. Her aim is to spread the word that there is light after the darkness.
